I went through these changes when I was taking Siterone. I didn't see much of a difference when I switched to injections. It seems to be an evolving process that can take up to a year to experience all the effects of low testosterone. The body adapts to the changes. I do get more joint pains and muscle aches now; however, since having completed a series of injections.

Eunuchus,

If I were you, I'd seek out a female urologist. They're often more sympathetic and understanding, not all, but most. There are two female urologists working in the following practice near you: http://www.metrourology.net/OurDoctors/ ... fault.aspx

6125 Clayton Avenue

St. Louis, (314) 843-8222

Interestingly, it states that Dr. Cathy N.: subsequently completed a clinical fellowship in Male Infertility and Microsurgery at the Glickman Urological Institute at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She was Assistant Professor, Director of Male Infertility and Microsurgery at Washington University School of Medicine from 2001-2006.

Assistant Professor, Director of Male Infertility? That's unique!

She looks nice and compassionate: http://www.ucl-stl.com/doctors/williams.htm But she might only take female patients or male patients with incontinence.

do feel calmer and less interested in sex. I can still get erections. However, they (erections) are difficult to maintain and I don't get them very easily like I used to. I have not had my T levels check in quite awhile. My primary care doctor had an ultrasound done on me and said I have Testicular dysfunction, then referred me to a Urologist. I have not seen a Urologist yet. I am hoping to wait so they shrink down, then see a doctor. I hope to find out that they have died off and need to be removed. I have read about the big crash such as depression and aching joints when one reaches castration T levels. I have not experienced that ,but I am on anti-depressants already. I have awaken a night sweating and I have experienced a heightened sensitivity to cold especially in bed at night. Sometimes I can't seem to get warm. Lately while at work I got hot and start while working outside in a Midwest winter. I am not sure if that is part of low T levels.
So, with any luck in January I will see a doctor and find out where I am at.

I have to agree a female Dr was the right path for me, mine is from India and she was very friendly and understanding and quick to suggest removing the dead testicle if it starts causing me any discomfort. She gave me low dose of T to help me maintain my energy and to prevent negative side effects of no to low T in a musclur male.

I went to Deaconase Urology in Evansville, IN Good Luck

Hash, I was planning on going to see Dr.Williams if she sees male patients. The group that she is part of is where my primary doctor referred me to. Dr.Kathy N. specializes in fertility and vasectomy reversals. I have heard interviews of her on local radio. She has quite a sense of humor. She would likely be a great doctor to see. Soontobe, I agree with you.I hope the doctor I choose will do the procedure for me.

I have to keep telling myself this is going to work and I have signs of low T levels. I guess I get discouraged easily. I also was cold last night.I could not get warm. I am also have aches and pains in my joints. I think those are from my Rheumatoid Arthritis. It may also be a combine affect of RA and Low T.

Sounds as though you are on your way of castrating yourself. Be careful!

Hi, this is my first post on here. Today I did my first injections using 80% drinking alcohol. I was ok till I put the needle in (25g 1" needle) then I started shaking. I tried the left testicle first, which I tied, so it was tight against scrotum. The pain was hardly noticable until I tried getting alcohol into it. I only managed 0.2 ml when testicle slipped out of tie. So I got a fresh needle and tried the right one. I tied it up better this time, by which time I stopped shaking. It was more painful in the right, but managed to slowly get 1ml in this time. Plunger took a bit of pushing at firsthough. Not gone much pain in testicles or abdomen yet, so hoping this is a start of becoming a eunuch.
