More of an update, and Not really sure how many more I will post here as I dont want this to turn in to a blog,

4:00 wakeup, out the door by 4:20, a 50 or so mile drive to the surgery center, got there at 5:08, had to stand outside until 5:30 on the dot when the door opened, went up to the 2nd floor to check in, Name, Insurance card, a few questions paid my Copayment was given my arm band then sat down for about 30 min or so, I was then called in and was escorted to my prep area. The nurse gave me a wonderful paper hospital gown, and left me to change in privacy after taking my BP. it was a bit elevated, “gee I wonder why?” I had to sign another release for the surgery when the nurse came back she hooked up a warm air tube to my hospital gown to keep me warm. She also gave me two-500mg Tylenol. She then inserted my IV and taped it to my hand.

My Dr. came in to finalize the entre procedure and a nurse came in to witness that I was agreeing with everything. “ Inguinal Bilateral Orchiectomy with NO biopsy, I may have numbness in the tops of my legs.” I may also have phantom pain, that will be permanent.

Then came the anesthesiologist, we went over all the things. Had I ever had surgery, heart problems, even though he had the ekg right in front of him. Asked if I ever had a stroke, and so on.

A small Pilipino nurse came in to shave me; she was not the most genital person, and I feel she shaved too much. “But what can you do?”

By this time it was 7:25, I was then rolled in to the OR, I had to shift myself on to the operating table, I looked at the OR clock and it read 7:32, the nurse in the OR asked me my name and took a scan of my bracelet and that’s about all I remember until 9:15, I was being pushed back to the Post Op area. I was in and out of sleep for about another 15-25 min. while another nurse was there with me. She had me drink some water and gave me some graham crackers and two Percocet tablets, a few minutes later I was allowed to get dressed. The post op nurse found a wheel chair for me I got in to this and had to wait for another hospital staff member to wheel me down to the Pickup area out side.

I found out that they put a couple of stitches in my scrotum, I guess there was an adhesion from a previous failed Burdizzo attempt.

My Mother and Sister were here for this and were in and out of the prep and post op area. But they also treated me with total respect and privacy.

We then drove home, we were at my place by 12:00 or so I felt pretty good, had a bit of toast with my antibiotic and a vicodin tablet to keep the pain away for a bit longer, I really didn’t feel bad at all. Later I finally had to go to the bathroom and discovered the athletic supporter with a HUGE wad of cotton in it, I have two bandages one on either side of the upper inguinal area these have some clear tape on them keeping the area sealed. I took that off and went to pee and saw the empty scrotum and smiled, “its DONE”

Very similar to my experience, tho I didn't have any cotton bandaging mine was some kind of clear tape bandage / covering the surgical wounds, my urologist didn't want me to remove them until the followup with him which was a few days later. I did have some concern when one sprung a leak, I kinda went into panic mode, but I sat down, gathered my thoughts and kept my eye on it, after the bandage drained it didn't leak anymore so I was relieved that I didn't have to goto the ER Be sure to take care of yourself over the next few days, if you're like me, you won't be able to sleep more than a couple hours at a time without waking up and taking another pain pill, then do a lil websurfing or watch tv, then lay back down and try to relax Congratulations on meeting your goal Ken

I tried to inject today...Apperently my fear of needles trumps my need to have my testicles destroyed. I just couldn't do it

After 6 sets of 190 EA injections, the last two times

I could not get the plunger to

move on one side. I thought maybe the syringe was sticking so I started over again (removed, pushed it down to verify it was working) and tried again... same thing. A week later, tried again... no luck. Is this what people are referring to when they say it won't take anymore? I don't feel like the size is reduced all that much, it's definitely smaller, but it's hard to tell how much as right/left has always been fairly different in size. I just didn't want to force the plunger as every time previously I only had to apply gentle pressure.

What do you think, is the one dead? (they both feel pretty numb, but still sensitive if squeezed or bumped). I plan on visiting the Dr soon, but wanted to be sure they are good and dead before scheduling anything.

Besides the hormonal changes, are there any other signs that they are toast?

They get to be quite hard and small and will likely sit high in the scrotum even when relaxed

Should be close to castration at 6 injections if 1.5cc's or more.No erections and no ejaculations signaled I was done. Probably castrated but we did more to make sure.

One testicle is very tiny and one is bigger but dead for sure. A bit misshapen. Sensitivity for you is probably from the cords, which are still sensitive- at least in my case.

Looks like my final update in this thread.

I received a call a few minutes ago from my Urologist.

He informed me that there is NO cancer. Well Duhhh, He is at a loss, as he puts it " they are dead" He has never seen both just "die" the only reasons for this is "torsion", or "severe inflammation" however he has "NEVER seen it happen with both testicles at the same time". He will think about it and get back to me incase there is something more that could be wrong.

So I can say this with all confidence "Mission Accomplished"
