I have a doc appt in 4 weeks and doctor knows im m2f transitioning. I figure that I will tell him about the injections. Since he is trans friendly I guess it can't hurt to tell him everything. My therapist found this doc for me since she didn't want me self medicating as she knew I was doing. Im not sure if she is going to write me an hrt letter or if doc is going to write script by "informed consent" . Im hoping for a letter.

Im pretty sure. I have been getting a strange stabbing pain im my lower abdomen to my testicles when I cough or strain sometimes. Kinda like cords are being yanked.

Sometime ago I read that atrophied organs begin to dissolve or disintegrate (waste away) and that pieces of the organ or cellular tissue can be removed from the body through urination or bowels. I can't remember everything, so I might not be totally accurate, however, it makes sense. I do know that dead testicular tissue will be absorbed by the body, so it sounds as though your testicles are atrophied, dead or dying. When are you getting another ultrasound?

Hash, I'm not sure if you were replying to me, but my doctor plans on referring me for another ultrasound in about a month. At first I though it was just me, but the mass on my right testicle has spread out or increased 2x in diameter. It hasn't increased in prominence though. I don't know whether I should bother my doctor about it or wait 6 days for these antibiotics to get used up, then tell him.

Yeah, it's hard to know sometimes what to do exactly. Take all the precautions that you can, safety is you're number one priority. It's logical that their are some inadvertent consequences of injecting ones testicles with ethyl alcohol. No one knows exactly how much to use or how much is necessary to kill the testicles, so it's an experiment for most who use this method. No one knows exactly where the best placement is for the injection site, some have hit things that have caused enormous pain and no one knows why certain things happen to their testicles, as in your case, infection. So it's a crap shoot in many ways, though still perhaps one of the best ways to rid yourself of your testicles. Perhaps, those on this site who used this method of castration, should systematize it by steps and doses, with diagrams and sites for injections, including proper amounts. It might save future users from doing the wrong things or using too much or too little alcohol. I guess I'm saying we should become scientific in our methodology. It's sort of what big pharma has to do when getting a new drug approved. They've got to do a lot of research & testing (R & D - Research & Development) in order to get the drug and dosage correct before it's approved. Just thinking. Hash

Standardization of doses would help everyone decide what might be the "right dose" for them. It would be helpful to know the proof and amount (cc's) of doses, the interval between injections and how long it took to get the results you wanted. Most of the entries in this thread have that information. I think I'll try looking through the entries and see if I can put together a summary of the results.

Does anyone know, or have an opinion, of whether it is more important to have a greater concentration of alcohol or just a greater amount of alcohol to have an effect ? For example 1 cc of everclear 190 proof (95% alcohol) gives a dose of .95 cc of alcohol, and 1 cc of everclear 150 proof (75% alcohol) gives a dose of .75 cc of alcohol.

That is a pretty big difference in alcohol concentration, but the actual amounts of alcohol in the doses can be made equal by increasing the dose of the everclear 150 to 1.25 cc.

I hope this math makes sense... Any opinions.

There isn't very much room inside the testicle for additional fluid without causing extreame pain. I was never able to inject more than a cc regardless of using 80 proof or 190 proof, so I would say the higher the proof would be very important.

My biggest recomendations are (safety precaustions aside) are:

1. Use a 32 guage insulin needle.

2. Space injections at least 7- 10 days apart.

3. Inject very slowly. 2-5 minutes per testicle.

4. Know testicular anatomy. Don't hit epiditimis or cord.

5. Vary injections in different areas of testicle.

6. Best to not do both testicles on same day and best to not use the same needle on both testicles for sterility and sharpness.
