Marcy, maybe you are almost there. I am doing my 6th round of the 190 proof everclear tonight. They are smaller and if squeezed they are almost painless. I have also had very sensitive nipples for the last week. No hot flashes yet. I know I have a ways to go. What were the first signs you have had, to tell you that they are dying? Good Luck.

Hi! That's what I was thinking. I must finally be killing off the remainder of the nerves and cells in my testes. Also, your sore nipples must mean that gynecomastia is taking place.

The first signs of testicular damage I noticed were lower libido and hot flashes, which I'm still experiencing from time to time. My libido seems to be getting lower and lower each day, and yesterday I noticed that running across the block to the bus stop tired me out more than usual. I usually don't have to catch my breath after running that far. I've been somewhat more tired or fatigued for the past few days. Also, last week my testicles, when squeezed, were almost painless. I wonder how small they'll be tommorow.

I did my 6th set of injections tonight. No Pain!!!!! None! They are getting smaller, harder and kind of numb. I was only able to get .75cc in this time. The changes I have experienced so far are:

Very sensitive nipples

Lowered Libido

Some Joint pain (no idea if it is related to this)

smaller testes

I just hope these are signs of progress. I have used 190 proof Everclear each time. Can anyone tell me if these are the right signs. What changes did you experience? I just hope I am getting closer. I want peace in my life.

Sounds like you're well on your way Danni. However, I would be worried about the joint pain, because castration or the general loss of sex hormones in the body can lead to a risk of osteoporosis. Thats because testosterone or estrogen controls calcium reabsorption in the bones. I can't dogmatically say that you're getting osteoporosis, but I think you should see about taking some Caltrate or calcium supplements until you can get on estrogen therapy, just in case. Maybe also do some online research about osteoporosis treatment and prevention first, and research the early signs and symptoms of osteoporosis. I haven't experienced joint pain myself, but I'm on the lookout for anything strange. Good luck and God Bless!

Gee, we would all be pretty screwed up injection-wise, if testicles were internal organs like ovaries. But fortunately, nature made them external, mainly because for sperm to survive, it needs to be at a slightly lower temperature than the core body temperature.

Once you reach castrate levels, your body will really start changing, with or without estrogen. In fact, estrogen will naturally rise with in the castrate.

1) Your hips will begin to widen, your old jeans won't fit right after a few months, at least that's been true for me.

2) You must think about your diet. Eunuchs who continue to eat as before castration will gain weight. Gaining weight is one of the things that comes with castration if you don't change your diet.

3) Osteoporosis is a real danger. You should get a bone density scan six months after reaching castration levels or after castration.

4) Cancer is a potential risk of leaving your atrophied shrunken testicles in place.

5) Hot flashes, breast growth, shrinking penis, even dental changes are part of castration. Sherry Lania stated that after being castrated she had to have a lot of dental work. This might result from the gum line shrinking, a side effect of castration.

Marcy, your welcome. I also wanted to add that one of the first things that I noticed was a lack of strength in my legs, I got tired, but I'm on a high energy diet and it really keeps me going. On top of this, you'll also lose muscle mass, even if you continue working out. Perhaps testosterone depletion will cause joint pain, not sure. Certainly keeping fit is beneficial and more so for eunuchs. From what you and need2bcastr8ed are saying, I'm quite positive that you're both non-castrated eunuchs. To be sure, you might want to wait a week

before doing anymore injections.

No sense in doing over kill and that alcohol is being absorbed into your system, though at these small amounts I doubt it will cause any other problems. It would seem that seven injections is all that's really necessary to do the job, though I'm sure this varies from person to person.

When are you going to get your testosterone levels checked? What is your final goal? MtF surgery?

I noticed effects the evening of my first injections and in the days thereafter, but that's because I'd been taking cyproterone acetate to keep my T level suppressed. I finally noticed significant shrinkage after the fifth injections. I believe it takes an average of between 6 to 8 injections of 1cc of 190 proof ethanol to do the job for most individuals. I spaced my first several injections only days apart, and I suspect this made things require more time. After I switched to at least a week apart is when I noticed the shrinkage. It is probably too soon for osteoporosis to show itself. I have heard a number of people complain about joint pain early in the process of testosterone depletion, it seems to end after a while. There are questions about the reports of dental issues after castration. No rersearch has supported this but I have heard occasional reports from individuals claiming they have had dental problems. --FLO--

Hi Hash! Well I plan on getting my testosterone levels checked as soon as possible, maybe sometime in the middle of next month. I just don't get why checking your blood testosterone or estrogen can't be as simple as like using a blood glucose reader to check your blood sugar. I mean, modern technology should be capable of detecting blood hormone levels that easily. Oh well.

My final goal is MTF sex reassignment surgery and estrogen therapy. However, I will be satisfied with a full penectomy and surgical orchiectomy if that's all I can get, and if I can get my gender changed without needing a letter from a sex-change surgeon. I know that most states, if not all states, require a letter from a sex-change surgeon prooving that you have had SRS. That should NOT be a preresiquite for legal gender change. Uhhh!
