As far as length, I'd estimate 2-3 hours maybe more or less YMMV. Then they'll be tender for a couple days. As far as wait, most recommend at least 1 week in between to prevent the accumulation of scar tissue(one of mine has a lot of scar tissue), and to give the body enough time to move the damaged cells out.

After all I've read on this comment trail - wait until the tenderness goes away and the swelling is gone. Then inject again. That may be a week or maybe two weeks. IF they are swollen and inflamed from the first injection and you inject into them again, you are asking for lots of pain. Let the body clear the damage and then inject. That will take patience.

Thank you for the quick and informative replies. The pain has subsided after about 8 hours and I can walk again without looking like I just rode bareback all day I'll wait for at least a week as per consensus. I'll be sure to update my progress after each injection.

Hi everyone! I just got finished with my 7th set of injections about 2 hours ago. I'm currently sore right now and had to take 4 200mg ibuprofen for the soreness. But it wasn't too bad.

I used 1 ml/1cc 190 Proof Everclear per testicle. This time I noticed that it was a little more difficult puncturing the actual skin around each testicle (not the scrotum). It wasn't more painful though, and in fact, it was less painful. Injecting was just as painful as last time. Removing the syringe was almost as painful as last time, maybe a little less painful this time. After I was finished with my right testicle, I moved on to my left one. A little while into the second testicle, I had to pull out the syringe to get a pair of scissors, and cut one of the three black rubber bands I had my testicles clamped with because the rubber bands were starting to hurt bad. It's probably because of the increased volume of the testicles during injection. I re-sterilized and continued to inject my left testicle again. However, after I injected more alcohol, the left testicle popped out of place! I heard a slight scratch-sound while it happened. I checked for internal or external bleeding, but there was none. I was surprised that it didn't hurt barely at all, but kind of frustrated. However, I was NOT going to stop there without injecting the entire 1 ml/1cc of alcohol into my left one, especially when it's usually bigger than the right testicle. I was a little concerned that the extra fresh injection holes I made would simultaneously leak alcohol while I injected more alcohol, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt, since I had to inject with another fresh hole in one of my past set of injections which yielded no leakage or complications. So after using three rubber bands again, I injected my left testicle for the third time, and was finally able to finish without interruption. I did feel my fresh opened holes sting a little while I was injecting, and even felt a little sting where the needle was located. However, that stopped after a little while.

I notice that my testicles are VERY sore if I sit the wrong way or don't spread my legs out. I'm glad they're this sore because I know that I'm getting more results then. They're quite swollen too.

Hi, Marcy!! Congratulations on getting to your seventh round of injections with no unexpected complications. Every time I felt that warmth and tenderness after injection, I was sitting in my leather recliner just enjoying and basking in the knowledge those damned things weren't going to bother me, ever again. I really welcomed and appreciated those feelings, and they usually faded within one to two hours.

Brooke, good luck with your injections. Keep it clean, keep it sterile, and take your time. It's definitely worth being patient and careful.

Thanks to Marcy and Caith for the kind words and support. I guess that is what this board is all about, right?

Anyhow, I'm being extra careful and plan on using only a fresh needle and alcohol swab for each injection. I've waited thirty something years to rid my body of these nasty little buggers so a week or two between injections is rather easy.

I do have a question. After how many injections would you think sterility sets in? Will T levels drop after the first few shots? I'm curious because if it is sooner then later then I can stop using an androgen blocker (Spiro) and just stick with estradiol for my HRT.

A tip: To help with the soreness, wear panties - or whatever undies you usually wear - after the injections. It keeps the testicles from sagging, ergo, minimizes pain.

For some odd reason, today my testicles are almost as small as they were before I did my 7th set of injections last night. They're not even that sore to the touch, just barely. It really makes me wonder, because my testicles are usually the sorest and most swollen at this time after an alcohol injection.

Marcy, maybe you are almost there. I am doing my 6th round of the 190 proof everclear tonight. They are smaller and if squeezed they are almost painless. I have also had very sensitive nipples for the last week. No hot flashes yet. I know I have a ways to go. What were the first signs you have had, to tell you that they are dying? Good Luck.
