You have my sympathy, I have gone through orchitis - both sides - from an infection. They were each swelled to the size of a fist. It lasted for two months. My ejaculate was pink from blood, I could not wear ordinary clothes, they were too tight and painful. Although this method seems safer than most DIY methods of castration, this provides good evidence that things can still go wrong. If your testicles are numb and hard, you've probably already killed them, and maybe, it's time to give them a rest to see if they are dead or will recover. You can always restart the injections, if they do recover. It only makes sense, if you are having difficulty injecting the alcohol into the testicle, that it might leak into surrounding tissues.

Don't be in too much of a hurry to get it done.

Wow, Wayne. I'm sorry to hear you were in *SO* much pain and may have further damage. It's terribly unfortunate, but it's one of those risks you had to be willing to accept when you started. I hope everything resolves well for you, one way or another.

I previously wrote about experiencing severe pain when I was doing my final, 12th injection. I never finished it because I had a very sharp pain in my abdomen. Actually, I only injected a tiny amount before it started. At first I assumed the I had mistakenly injected into my epididimus. Later, I thought that maybe I had

pulled a muscle in my abdomen

from the way I was bent over when I was injecting. Still later, I recalled pulling muscle in my abdomen several days earlier and thought maybe that was the cause. Reading the experience of another member, it sounds very similar to my experience, except that I had no swelling. I had to stretch to relieve the pain and it took me several days to get over it. It was extremely painful and scary at first.

Each testicle has now been treated with: 2x 70% isopropyl alkohol cleaning sheets followed be 1ml 96% (192 proof)(drinkable clear liquor alcohol!) in a 29gauge (0,33mm) - ½" (12mm) needle - and I'm now feeling minor discomfort ... my thoughts however are going more out to Wayne - sorry to hear that you're in pain, hope that it resolves soon.

Well... Wednesday i did my 5th injection. I had a really hard time getting the needle into both testicles. Took forever. Apparently, after the testicle starts to go dead, you cant feel how much is being injected into the ball itself. I did my usual 1cc of Everclear but as soon as I was done, my left testicle was in immense pain. I had shooting pain up into my left abdomin. It was sooooo painful, I called 911 and an ambulance took me to the hospital. I never said anything about the injections. They had me on a lot of morphine and I was still screaming like I was dieing. I never felt pain like that before. They did an ultrasound and found that the left testicle was rupturing. They diagnosed it as Orchitis. They were puzzled and didnt know why it was happening. But apparently, when the testes go dead and you cant feel them anymore, you cant feel how much to inject. Orchitis is where the sac that surrounds the teste itself, fills with fluid and expands. the fluid, in this case (Everclear), went into the head of the epididymis and traveled up the ductus deferens, thru the spermatic cord and into the abdomin. The Everclear was destroying everything it came in contact with. The teste doubled in size. They gave me antibiotics, vicodin, 800mg of ibuprofen, and said to see a urologist in a week; not to walk for a week and stay in bed. They also said that the teste will also get even bigger than what it is. They also said that an operation is not out of the question, it all depends if the antibiotics can get the swelling down. The pain is immense. I am sooo scared, I doubt i will do another injection. I should have known something was wrong when I couldnt get the needles to go in. I thought I was going to bend the needles. They were soo hard just after 4 injections already. But it does make sense that after they become dead, you wont be able to feel how much to inject, and that is how this all happened. Scary situation.

OK...so lesson to learn on this?

When your testicles go hard and you can't feel the injections - stop.

I had a stretch where I was doing daily injections to my left testicle for 3 weeks straight. (This was after a considerable number of injections over a 6-7 month period) A number of times after I had injected the alcohol, I pulled back to extract some of the fluid and like you, I found yellowish threads floating in the alcohol. If I left it settle for some time, the threads settled out into a small amount in the bottom of the syringe. I figured it was just material from the interior of the testicle that was destroyed but not yet carried off or dissolved by the body's natural process because the alcohol was damaging the testicle faster than the body could deal with it. The only time I have ever pulled back on the plunger was after I did injections.

Not that any here as said they did it but this is a warning just for safety.

Isopropyl alcohol wipes are not eatable and you should never drink isopropyl alcohol or consume it in any way. This is sold in stores as rubbing alcohol. It is not for drinking or any internal body use.

Methyl alcohol or methanol or wood alcohol or wood spirits is also deadly to the body. Read the ingredients and if it says methanol, don't use it.

The only alcohol you can consume is ethyl alcohol or what commonly drinking alcohol, spirits or booze.

That is why we tell people get drinking grade (the purest) alcohol from a store that sells vodka, everclear, whiskey, wine, beer etc... The highest alcohol clearest vodka is best if you can't get everclear.

(PS - I'm a chemical engineer and the old safety manual took hold of my fingers. I'd rather warn than not warn. I'd rather repeat it again just in case. Safety first

To this day, I don't know why I had the pain that I did during my last injection. I suspect that it was caused by the injection, but I guess that I'll never know. I didn't notice anything different from my previous injections, except that I was injecting less alcohol. The syringe went in just like before but my testicle was smaller.

Many who have written here injected as many times as I did, or more, and never spoke of any similar problems. Like the warnings that accompany drugs, there are many side effects that affect some people but not the majority. So you have to be careful and to expect the unexpected. I do wish Wayne a swift recovery. Wayne, I'm thinking of you, buddy, and wish you the best.
