I just got finished with my 5th injection in my right testicle. All went well. I injected into 4 different places using aseptic technique each time. I switched to the 100 proof Smirnoff vodka tonight. I wanted to make a correction from my previous post, I'm using 27g 1-inch needles.

Tonights injection went amazingly well. I was able to go soooo quick with minor discomfort. A lot faster then my usually rate. Tonight I used a rubber band to keep the testicle in place because normally my hand that holds the testicle tight and close to the skin gets weak during the injection. I think the testicle being loose and not close to the skin was causing my discomfort. Having the rubber-band in place was a lot easier and the discomfort was very minimal. I really hope my last 4 injections weren't hitting the wrong area or ineffective because that would suck so bad lol.

I now just have an ache that radiates in my lower groin/abdominal area. I still feel like I could inject more, but I'm tired as all heck and really don't feel like it. Maybe in a couple of days if there isn't any significant swelling, etc. I'll probably go to my doctor tomorrow (we work in the same building) and complain of dull ache pains in my testicles again. I want it documented as an ongoing problem before the real magic of atrophy kicks in. Alright, off to bed I go. Night/morning to all.

Update: I'm a little sore today. Running up the stairs wasn't very fun lol. I haven't gotten the chance to talk to my doctor yet, but hopefully I will be able to while the right testicle is still achy.

Quick update for the record.

I just put my 4th injection on each. This time is after 12 days as before I was feeling still too sensitive that I felt it was not worth pushing it.

Also they are smaller and I was debating whether is a bunch of skin besides the hardened masses inside or still healthy left overs of the testes, probably a little of both.

I use same technique. The left has been always the smaller, and the one that hurts most.

I feel that each time is a little more painful to go in, but I think it could simply be that my expectations are of less pain than the first time which I expected great pain and end up being not as bad as expected.

This time I shot .7 ml on each. Post injection the pain is less than last two times.

I do feel much sensitive to cold. I can be nice warm inside and as soon as I go out in the cold I feel it to my bones....

I remember reading somewhere that there is a risk of gangrene of massive dead cells in the body.

I am concern about how the hard masses left after injections will be processed by my body if at all and if not what are the risks?

Has any one had the hard balls not surgically removed and what are your experiences?

OK, first....

Uping the romance is normal. I haven't started my shots yet but I've been on siterone and had the same affect. Good feeling, huh?

It's also natural to be a bit colder, especially if you have breasts. I wear padded bras to help keep the girls warm.

As for the gangrene. This wont happen inside the testicles for two reasons:

Gangrene is the result of an infection or blocked blood vessels.

As long as the needles are sterile and you prep the area, you shouldn't get an infection. Secondly, you're not blocking blood flow, you're damaging tissue to the point where it wont work anymore.

We use the terms, "kill" or "dead" when describing what we're doing to the testicles with these injections but it's important to understand that's not what's happening.

"Dead" has a very specific medical term - it means it's no longer alive because it has no blood flowing to it. At which point it's necrotic.

What we're doing is more akin to a heart attack. When the body has a heart attack that part of the heart is damaged to the point where it wont function, but still has blood flowing to it. As long as it does and as long as it's not infected, it wont turn gangrenous.

Same with the testicles. The alcohol starves the little buggers of water, they damage, and atrophy. Repeated injections damage more and more tissue and we're gradually left with small, hard testicles that produce little to no testosterone.

BUT...the tissue IS still receiving blood and as long as there's no infection (say, from the needle you're using to inject them) they shouldn't turn gangrenous.

That being said, after they've shrunken about as small as you can get them go see a doctor. Said doctor will probably want to have them removed just to be on the safe side.

to the injections. That being said, I have not had any daytime erections. I have not had any erotic thoughts either; even if I try to have them, I can't. I am more sensitive to the cold.

Won't is a strong word. Try as you might someone is going to get an infection. Even when we perform surgeries in a surgical suite a certain percentage of patients get infections. Even the dreaded gas gangrene can be a consequence.

This statement is not entirely correct. On path my testicles were necrosed 50% Right and 70% Left. The ultrasound showed no blood flow in those areas. The path showed that fact as well. The tissue that was left over was a brown mush with no vasculature what so ever. The surrounding tissue was alive but had limited blood supply as well. Again, infections can happen saying they wont is a very strong statement.

nonamesplease - As to removing the atrophied hard little testicles. Urologists are more likely to remove them then not. There is a greater cancer risk if you leave the atrophied testicles in place. From what I know and read, Urologists are more willing to remove them if they're non-functioning because of this greater risk. If I was you, I'd simply tell your physician/urologist that you're afraid they might become cancerous. If that doesn't work, ask for a second or third opinion. You might also want to decide whether you should keep your scrotum, although they might be less inclined to remove it since it's not going to hurt anything.

raynestorm - About prostate removal. Once castrated, your prostate will shrink considerably as long as you don't supplement with replacement testosterone (HRT). The prostate needs testosterone to stay completely functional. Even with some HRT, my prostate is small. My female physician told me that my prostate is hard to find and she attributes it to me being castrated. She also agreed with me when I told her that the world would be a safer place if more men were castrated.
