I have stayed off now for an additional month and havent noticed much of a change. I get another round of blood work back in the middle of this week, so its going to be interesting to sse the results. but i still have no errections, but do have a slightly increased libido, but i mean really slight.

I'm thinking about stopping the siterone after one year to see if these changes are now permanent or if I need to continue with the regimen.

For anyone who stops siterone (etc.) . Be sure to read and follow the instructions. There are negative side effects from just stopping it "cold-turkey". You need to reduce the dosage over the period of several weeks. All is explained in the documentation that comes with the drug.

I agree with that, dont go cold turkey, I followed the directions and it worked well.

Will let everyone know on Wed if 2 years was enough for a permanent effect.

Just goes to show the physical effects does not always match what the hormone levels are. Anyone that can "think" that they "know" that they are shut down is never sure.

Guess in your case the effects did reverse themselves somewhat. May take a while to go higher. After 2 years some permanent damage should have happened.

Hope you have a better idea on how to move on. Wish you all the luck.

Thanks Bobbie:

I prefered being at that castrate level of the mid 40 range. I thought it was a wise test to see if enough permanent damage had been done after the 2 years, but i guess not.

I am going to go back on the siterone till I am able to go to the next level. I have been working with a therapist who specialize in this area, so that i can go the legit route and have it preformed by a surgeon.

Trying to get to a certain level when in the castration levels is not really possible. Even castrated guys can have testosterone levels above 50. At lower levels the test can come back with no or low level of hormones. When dealing with just a few grams of hormones it can be hard to measure.

In any case you know that you can get very low on hormones. That is a real true test on if you can handle the side effects. Having a understanding therapist is fantastic. You can get the therapist blessing will be a real plus when dealing with a surgeon.

I expect that my range will vary a bit once castrated, and as far as I know my t might not go up much more then it has since I stopped the siterone.

But i would be comfortable with anything upto where i am now or lower, and hope that it wouldnt go much higher then 117 once castrated.
