Thinking of Anti-androgens...
With all the talk about anti-androgens going on around here lately, I've been thinking of trying it.
I would like to eliminate sex drive and eliminate erections, without affecting body strength, osteoperosis problems, etc.
Can this be done with anti-androgens? If so, what would a recommended dosage be?

Re: Thinking of Anti-androgens...
Either Androcur, a pill or Depo-Provera, a shot.
My experience with DP is exactly what you are looking for, if you don't mind needles. It IS cheaper than Androcur & you only have to take it once every 3 months, although if you have a strong libido you may have to take it more frequently. You decide.

It sounds like you recommend Depo-Provera more, then?
It looks like I could get Androcur from an online pharmacy without needing to see a doctor. I'm wondering what about Depo-Provera, though - how would I go about getting that?

Re: Thinking of Anti-androgens...
I have tried Depo Provera and was on it for over a year. It did not fully remove all my sex drive, but it did substantially reduce it.
The 150mg dosage, in the 1ml vial, that is recommended for once every 3 months, is NOT for chemical castration. It is for the females who do not want to take the pill every day and prefer one shot every three months. Not only are females less dependent on testosterone but they also still keep their sex drive using this, it is NOT meant to stop a sex drive, it was only meant to lower the testosterone levels just enough to stop the ovalation in females. BTW in case you did not know females need T for sex drive as much as men do, estrogen performs other functions, part of which is determined by how much T is in their bodies. They get it from the Adrenal gland, men do too but we get MORE from our testis as well.
I read an article on chemical castration of sex offenders and there the recommended beginning dosage was 500mg PER WEEK for 4 weeks and then 300-500mg PER WEEK thereafter as a maintenance dosage, counting on what level is then needed to keep the sex drive from returning. Each 1ml vial is 150mg, so that works out to a LOT of shots PER WEEK, and NOT one every three months. Trust me, I tried it at those levels, and you get quite sore from all those shots, plus the cost goes up substantially with those levels of dosages. Cancer patients are recommended doses that much PER DAY for the first 30 days, so apparently high dossages do not present a risk but they do increase the pain and financial costs a lot.
Overseas, for this reason, they gave up on DP for chemical castration, and moved to a combination of Depo Lurpon and Androcur, OR Androcur with a lesser dosage of Depo Provera since the Androcur is doing the main job already. The reason they recommend both is because if you miss an Androcur dosage, since they are pills you take twice a day, the other will take over the slack till the next dosage, and so sex offenders cannot just stop taking the pill to get their drive back as easily. Just Androcur alone will work, but not as affectively it was found. However this was said under an article about sex offender dosages over seas, and many sex offenders would stop taking dosages or were delinquent many times in taking every dose of Androcur, but the doctors could ensure the monthy shots of Lupron or Provera as a backup, which they could not just stop so easily.
Depo Lurpon is FAR more affective. I have been on that myself. First of all it works IMMEDIATELY, unlike Depo Provera that can take up to 3 months to be fully affective. Once you take Depo Lupron you are chemically castrated, period, though your body will have residuals in the blood stream that may last a few weeks, but you WILL feel the affects right away, I know I did. Within a month I could not get hard anymore and was almost dry on orgasms, plus it was hard to get an orgasm and it took a LOT of work to do so, but always with a soft penis and intense concentration to do so. But Lurpon has two problems. One is cost over a thousand dollars PER DOSE. Now the dose will last 3 months, but it costs a hell of a lot to get. Two, the health risks are much greater than with Provera, you MUST be supervised by a doctor if you use this, you can die from some side affects, orbe severely health impaired, like liver and kindey damage and high blood pressure for example. It only does this to some, but you could be that some, so you need to be monitored in case it happens to you and then they can take you off before any real damage or anything permanent is done. It is also very hard to find it without a prescription, almost impossible really. And lastly I have heard rumors from some anti Lupron sites (take what weight you will on this) that Lupron sometimes is NOT reversible if you have been on it a long time, meaning if you were on it for years you may not be able to get your sex drive back at all, maybe. But then if you were on it for years I would expect you WANT that anyway, or else you would have gone off it long before. After all many of us take that to either see if we like being that way (a test drive so to speak) or to get a castration without having to get surgery (in which case maybe you luck out then and have the real deal without having to continue such an expensive drug).
There is also a new drug out there called Zoladex. You can find more on their website
http://www.zoladex.com/professional/zoladex/
This is also a very expensive drug, but without the risk factors of Lupron. In fact it costs about the same as Lupron, and also lasts 3 months, but is safer to use. It is also an epidermal injection so it has far less pain involved in getting it, Lupron is deep intra muscular and can be painful for up to a week after the shot is given. Zoladex is delivered through a breakthrough in technology even, it is a time capsul that is inserted in the layer between the skin and fat cells, where it slowly releases it's medicine over the three month period. It is still too new to be sure of long term affects, but so far it seems the most promising for what we desire. Expense and difficulty in getting it is the biggest drawbacks. It MUST be administered by a doctor, MUST be. This is not a simple injection, it takes SKILL and practice/experience to get it in the right layer of skin, this is not a simple inject and you are done job for an amateur, exact precision of the injection site is critical. The webpage explains this better, in it's PDF form, and you can order free literature on it there too. If you can get a doctor to prescribe for you than this is your best shot.
OK, with all that said, for the amatuer, the do it your selfer, the one doing it at home,,,, I recommend only Androcur, for many reasons. One you remove the risks of injections altogther, you can die from disseaes from injections if you are not absolutely sterile in your preoceedures, including infections of the heart muscle from simple bacteria that is on your skin already. Injecting bypasses the biggest blockade to dissease, your skin, and puts it on the highway to your blood system directly to your vital organs. You can also die or get severely impaired for life from other things gone wrong in injecting, including air bubbles in the blood stream or hitting an artery internally as you inject. It is not as simple as it looks, it takes a lot of trainig to do it right and safely.
Two, taking pills is a lot easier and safer, and if you miss a dose just make sure you take the next one is all, you will be OK if you miss a dose with Androcur, since it is not an addicting drug nor is it needed to keep you alive and healthy. At most missing a dose will just let you gain a bit of sexuality for a short time. This is a benefit too for those who want to play around with sex drive or no sex drive, and control it that way.
Three, you can get Androcur easier on the net than you can Depo Provera, and in the end, because the dosages needed with Provera for chemical castration are SO high you actually save money, it is cheaper with Androcur event though initially it does not look so. Remember that the one shot every three months deal is only for women to keep from getting pregnant, it is NOT for chemical castration, you need a great deal more dosage of Provera to get chemical castration. If it has worked for you anyway than maybe you already had a weak sex drive and didn't know it, OR you are experiencing the plecebo affect, in which case more power to you buddy.
Four, it qualifies for import without a prescription because it is a drug not available on the open market in the US, is not a narcotic or on the DEA watch list, is tested and verified in Europe already, and is not purchased within the US. I have yet to hear of someone getting it confiscated in customes, even through the 911 events which increased greatly the way customs does it's business. This is not to say it does not happen, but that it is not common. Just be sure to NEVER order all your stuff in one shot, so if one gets lots or confiscated you still have the others. Plus large orders are checked closer than smaller multiple orders since they only see the package they are opening and don't know you had others.
I strongly suggest that anyone considering any drug FIRST research it to the max, know what you are getting into, fully, and the risks involved and health signs to watch out for.
OK due to space limitations I am going to reply to this topic once again with a list of URLs that you will find VERY useful in all this.

An excellent piece of research and presentation, sir. Far from being an overload of information, this is the kind of information that needs to be presented more in the EA as an offset to the fantasy mindsets.

Re: Thinking of Anti-androgens...
I increased my dose of DP to once a month. While I had an over-active libido to begin with, I have NONE now. This is just my results, but thanks for the info, anybody.

Re: Thinking of Anti-androgens...
Well as I said I didn't get enough of an affect till I was up past the 300mg per WEEK dosage. I guess I have an over active labidio. Each of us are different, and our bodies will also react differently to changes and can be more or less sensative to the chemistry within ourselves. Maybe your body needs more testosterone than mine for the same results, maybe you were already on a lower level naturally, I don't know, I could also be more sensative to testosterone where even the most minute amount may affect me still, who knows. There is also another factor to consider, the biggest and most potent sex organ in the body, one which will not be turned off by removal of testosterone, and that is the brain itself. Yes the mind is also controlled somewhat by testosterone, but even a full eunuch can still think about and want sex too.
Those variables, especially in one's mind, have shown up time and time again in history and in studies done on those on chemical ro real castration. Just like some can get castrated and never loose their labidio (though it will reduce somewhat) and some never get castrated yet don't have a labidio at all anyway. It is also possible that your body may be more sensative to the drug and lessened testosterone output far more for far less of the drug being used, maybe my body has some kind of resistance to it, who knows. I tried to express this in my post, but I also had a lot of information to mention overall so I could not emphasize it as much as I wanted to.
On something off topic but a good example of what I am talking of;
I remember once the doctors said I had too high a colesterol, well over 220, and they put me on a highly restrictive diet to remove fats from my diet. It shot up even more to my surprise because of that diet. SO I gave up and not only went back to my old eating habbits but even was making up for that diet by over eating on the "good stuff" hehehe. Well my colesterol then went down to 168. The doctors told me that sometimes a person's body will over react to the loss of fats consumed and make more internal colesterol even though you are not eating fatty foods, and sometimes the reverse can happen too, that sometimes a person's body will react to eating too many fats by reducing how much colesterol it makes out of them. Well I happen to have both happen to me, and both are definitely out of the norm.
Just because something is expected and normal to happen does not mean it is absolute, there are variables all over the board, as humans are not machines, we are biological, and our DNA ensures that each one of us are unique. It is that uniqueness which sets us apart from each other, gives spice and variety to life, and also screws up our plans to make things fit into nice neat little boxes of rules.

On something off topic but a good example of what I am talking of;
I remember once the doctors said I had too high a colesterol, well over 220, and they put me on a highly restrictive diet to remove fats from my diet.

Re: Thinking of Anti-androgens...
I don't know how dated your info is, but the only thing I can find about DP & chemical castration dates to the early 90's, when they sold a solution that had to be taken by women once a month. As you know, the new product is a suspension taken by women every 3 months. I cannot find anything about c.c. & that.
Re: Dosages. I will admit that I tend to react to the lowest dosage of any drug so perhaps that explains my results. Also, unlike anyone who has been sentenced to c.c. I WANT a decreased libido &, like you said, the biggest sex organ is the brain.
