Just started taking Siterone
I have followed this site for a while now and last Friday I received my first batch of Siterone. I am looking forward to it starting to take effect as is my wife.
I have started by taking 150mg spread over 3 doses, is that too much to start with?
My ideal goal is to stop erections and to shrink my penis and balls. Will shrinkage happen just by taking Siterone or will I need to add something else?
Sorry if my questions seem a little obvious but I would appreciate any advice

Re: Just started taking Siterone
I have tried taking cyproterone acetate (ca.) but couldn't cope with the side effects. On the first trial run I took 1 x 50mg tab daily. I felt the eunuch calm very quickly, and within a week I was experiencing hot flushes in the form of uncomfortable hot legs at night. I already had sleep issues and this made it worse so I stopped taking the ca. I became impotent by the 2nd or 3rd week despite having quit the ca. This is a strong drug. On my second trial of the drug I took a much lower dose, but I still experienced intolerable side effects. On the third attempt, my wife slipped me the drug. We did this just to rule out the possibility of of my imagining side effects. Despite her giving me minute doses I still reacted strongly, and again it affected my sleep so we stopped. I seem to be hyper sensitive to this drug. The advice Inhouse Pharmacy publish for this drug is to start on a low dose. They also say that as little as 10mg per week is enough for some men. I tend to agree with them. Don't expect to become impotent straight away. Be patient, you might need a lot less of the drug than you think. Also, a low dose is much kinder to your liver. Take your time and keep us posted on your progress. Good luck

Re: Just started taking Siterone
From what I have seen on this site 100mg a day for the first 3 months is what most people seem to recommend. Then dropping to a lower dose. I don't plan on dropping mine at the time because I want to make sure these testosterone factories are effectively shut down until I am able to get them removed.
Since you are lowering your T your hormones will be unbalanced. You might need to take estrogen (since you are wanting to lower your T it wouldn't make sense to add testosterone) to keep yourself balanced. I believe there are some on this board that don't take supplemental hormones and after having horrible hot/cold flashes and night sweats I don't see how they do it.
Best of luck!

Re: Just started taking Siterone
Thanks for the advice.
I think that I will drop my doseage to 100mg a day and see how that goes.
Would anyone advise any other treatments to take along side to help maximise the effect?
Has anyone had any bad experiences when taking Siterone or for that matter any really good experiences?

Re: Just started taking Siterone
Hi Jay, and everyone,
i am currently taking 125 mg of Siterone (from inhouse) a day, and have suffered absolutely no side-effects whatsoever. i have been taking it regularly, 25 mg (half a tablet) about 6:30 am - with little or no food, but a cup of tea, 50 mg (1 whole tablet) after lunch about 1:00 pm iah, and another after dinner at about 8:30 PM.
So far my boy bits do not swell at all (zero erections). On the two occasions i have tried to mastubate, ell have masturbated, i did not swell very much at all, but used my thoughts and feelings to orgasm. The resultant orgasm produced a very very small quantity of clear thin fluid. i hope this is an indication that my testosterone is both reduced and my little factories have indeed shut down.
i have only experienced two, maybe three, hot flushes or flashes as some call them, and they were not severe, just felt super super hot for about a minute or two (all over) then returned to normal.
i do not appear to have experienced any sleep issues - apart from regularly waking at 3 or 4 am, wide awake, but do manage to get back to sleep.
i intend to reduce my dose slowly after three months.
i have now been taking this for about 7 weeks, and for the 5 weeks prior was on Spironolactone at 100 mg morning and night (total 200 mg /day).
Additionally i am on two patches simultaneously of Climara 100 estrogen patches, changed weekly so perhaps the estrogen is keeping hot flushes at bay.
I hope this is of some help, please dont hesitate to ask if there is anything else you wish to know , i will try to answer , based on my experiences..

Hi Charlene,
Any advice that I can get it most helpful and welcome. It is nice to read comments from people who are further along the route than me so that I can see what to expect.

Hi Jay,
mu pleasure.....
Just you also need to be aware of the feminising effects of the estrogen, if you decide to do that

Re: Just started taking Siterone
I haven't yet decided on feminizing. My initial hope is to prevent erections and reduce the size of my penis and testicles. I'm just not sure if Siterone on its own will do all of that.
I may decide to go further at a later stage as both me and my wife are keen to see the results.

Re: Just started taking Siterone
Siterone WILL do that, but you will probably experience the hot flush side effect without the estrogen. Plus if it is a permanent thing you are hoping for , then be careful of osteoporosis. the estrogen will help prevent that, but you need either T or E to prevent this.....

Re: Just started taking Siterone
I will bear that in mind and decide what action to take if and when the hot flushes occur.
Can I expect to see results quickly or over a long period of time?
