After 3 months on this dosage and t-level tests it would be possible to dramatically reduce the dosage to a 'maintenance' dose wouldn't it?

i am currently waiting for my saliva hormone level check to come back from the lab and if my levels are well down i will be reducing my dose.

i have been on 125 - 150 mg Siterone now for over a month (200mg Spiro before that) so am hoping my t-levels will get to castrate level soon so I can reduce.

As soon as my results are back i will post them here and likely be looking for some advice / suggestion as to how to maintain or further reduce them , if required

The only "intelligent" answer I'd have would be that doctors don't like to use androcur for more than a year. After which time, if testosterone deprivation is still indicated (say for prostate cancer) they would then advise castration.

im looking forward to getting one of those saliva hormone tests. It seems to be way easier than blood tests. And sure im gonna have my blood checked to see if my liver function is ok. And I hope to get the full results im expecting by the 3rd month. Otherwise that would be so disappointing. Its actually very complicated to me. Some people get the results within some weeks while others speak of a timeframe that requires several months to get the full results. As they say YMMV its true.

You could start a travel/photo blog on the mainline webs. If you actually liked photography and/or writing you might actually wind up making money from one or both of these activities.....

I sent you a private message regarding this issue. :)

People who say they have full results in a few weeks are being over optomistic. It does take a few minutes for the results that your speaking of to kick in and the more changes will continue to happen as well.

Good luck with it

From what I have read, while each individual is different, testosterone levels would have absolutely dropped after a few weeks on androcur, and after three months, most of the effects of lowered testosterone levels should be very noticible. The fat redistribution might not be complete, but most certainly would have started. I am not an expert, and others might add better information or correct what I have said.

I am @ my heavyest now after 2 years, but the fat redistribution took a long time almost 18 months to become noticable. I have gained like 15#s, of course i havent been able to work out for about a year, so once i come off some other meds that are screwing with my feet, i hope to loose some
