4 weeks on Androcur and the results so far

Post by jesaispas (imported) »

This is my new blog post. I put it here as well for the guys who are not following my blog.

Hi every body

In the past few weeks, I’ve had a rough time, that’s why I couldn’t come here. I live with my father. He’s businessman and he has to travel to all across the world to make rubbish contracts. we are on long journeys almost 6 months a year and that hurts so much. I have to accompany him in all these boring journeys. I don’t have any other option here. When I was a child it was fun, but as I grow up its just like a nightmare. and I get really sick and depressed. Its so hard for me. I speak 5 languages and none of them is my native language. Im multi-ethnic and I even don’t feel I belong to a specific place in this world. . It’s a funny tragedy anyway. Sorry to tell these things to you. I wanna say if I cant come here its probably because im in a place I don’t wanna be and im not in the mood to come and update my blog. Ok, lets get to Androcur.

It’s now been 28 days since I started taking Androcur. As you may have read before on my blog, I started off with taking 25 mg a day for 4 days, then for 6 days I switched into 75 mg, form the day 10 I went on to 100 mg a day, and form the day 20 till now (eight days) im on 150 mg/day (75 mg in the morning and 75 mg in the evening).

As to the results im getting:

1- Sexual Drive: my libido has reduced. Now I feel I need to masturbate just once a week. but I can still get erections easily, if I want to. My cum now is more watery (not completely colorless though), but its not dried up yet. I have no idea if things are going on well for me. I still do have sexual thoughts but its not in a way that I need to jerk off immediately.

2- Acne: so far the best result im getting with androcur is getting rid of my face acne. I always used to have one or two spot on my cheeks, but since on androcur, I haven’t had any acne in that area, that is so fortunate.

3- Sleep: before taking androcur it was very difficult for me to wake up in early mornings. But now I wake up 6 am automatically and im not sleepy. But I tend to take a nap in the middle of day. Im drowsy in the 10 or 11 am for example, which is something new for me.

P.S: im not sure if this one has something to do with taking androcur.

4- Mood swings: I was teary in the past few weeks, I could easily burst into tear, once it was very embarrassing crying in the street. but im sure it doesn’t have anything to do with Androcur. Because I always experience this mood whenever I go to long journeys with my father. this time it was India.

5- hair loss: unfortunately I have not noticed any improvement in my hair loss being stopped.

6- Testicles: I think my testicles have become slightly smaller than before.

That’s all I can speak of now. I will add if I noticed any new result. Id appreciate any comment on my progress. I have a feeling that I don’t get the best result. And I want to know if things are going on well for me.

And im really sorry for my bad English. sorry for any inconvenience reading my post. :-)

It sounds like you are enjoying the effects of Androcur so far, which is good. But your post begs the question: If you hate all that travel why don't you tell your father you hate it and want to do something else? Or can't you think of anything you'd like better?

I totally understand your not wanting to be dragged around anymore than you already are. Chemical castration is a great way to self empowerment and relax while enslaved.

I too am going through the mood swings. Maybe related to the joys of life w/o T then suddenly realizing the complex loss that has left you a slave to your father's trash business.

I'd learn how to say F-off in twenty languages, it helps and is your right!;)

You think I haven’t told him so far or he doesn’t know what im feeling? Unfortunately there is no other option for me at the time. Im so damn dependent on him. Since I don’t have any other family member (my mom divorced and left when I was 6) its really hard for me to stay 2 or 3 months away from my dad. Tried it once ,didn’t work. Also there are plenty more reasons I cant explain now. as this song says:

“Runaway train never going back

Wrong way on a one way track

Seems like I should be getting somewhere

Somehow I'm neither here nor there”

Its my story. lol :D

Anyway, regarding androcur I want to get to a level that I cant get erections and my cum dries up completely and also my hair loss halts. When can I get to that level? Is it ever going to lead to that level at all, with the results I’ve gotten so far?

For most people I believe the magic number is 3 months before you can get the full affects of androcur. I have never had a hair loss problem but I guess it was around 3 months that I started growing more hair than I had before. This could also be due to me taking androcur as well as some estrogen.

Be careful, using this drug long term, at the higher doses you are talking about, could have detrimental effects on your liver function. For the purposes of this discussion, I really think Androcur or chemical castration is best used for short-term "test drive" use to see if physical castration is really a serious option for one's life.

It will be iseful information to know fairly closely what 'short term means (3 monhts, 6 months 12 months).

After 3 months on this dosage and t-level tests it would be possible to dramatically reduce the dosage to a 'maintenance' dose wouldn't it?

i am currently waiting for my saliva hormone level check to come back from the lab and if my levels are well down i will be reducing my dose.

i have been on 125 - 150 mg Siterone now for over a month (200mg Spiro before that) so am hoping my t-levels will get to castrate level soon so I can reduce.

As soon as my results are back i will post them here and likely be looking for some advice / suggestion as to how to maintain or further reduce them , if required

Photography, or perhaps creative writing, are a couple of ways to "make lemonaid out of lemons". If you can manage to look outward at the different environments that you find yourself in and write about and/or photograph People, Places, and Objects" this might give you enough of an activity that will relieve the boredom of being where you don't want to be. You could start a travel/photo blog on the mainline webs. If you actually liked photography and/or writing you might actually wind up making money from one or both of these activities.

While you see being dragged all over the world as a bummer, it could actually be turned into an opportunity. Few people get to travel the world as you are doing. If you can find personal interest in something YOU could change your life. But you must be the proactive initiator. If you don't participate in your life it won't automatically get better all by itself.

You are being proactive in changing your life by taking medication to reduce testosterone level. Having done the same thing I am of the opinion that you may very well find comfort and success by doing this. Testosterone is a very powerful hormone that just seems to make some of us "go nuts" (so to speak). Reduction/elimination of it can have a very stabilizing effect; at least it has for me.

While your mental and emotional factors are adjusting to the reduction of testosterone try to not dwell on this, think about it or focus on it. Try to find something completely new that may be of interest to you that will consume most of your attention and time.

Maybe painting. People watching. Reading. Something.

Best Wishes.
