Dirty Jobs Sheep Castrator

Did anyone see the Dirty Jobs Sheep Castrator on TV?

Would that work on humans, too?

Check for yourself.

Grab you balls and feel them up real good. the won't jsut be egg shaped or ovals, there's a cord leading to them and (1) human testicles are bigger tha sheep testicles, (2) human cords are thicker and stronger than sheep testicles.

So your teeth alone would not be enough to cut human cords.

And then, if you watched the show closely, they shoot the animals up with antibiotics to prevent infection.

Also, humans have more and bigger blood supply to their testicles than those sheep. You risk bleeding.

Enjoy the show. Mike Rowe has such a goofy reaction to what he does but don't think in reality that a full grown human can be equivalent to a very young sheep. Just in dreams and stories.

One thought I had since it's no longer done to dogs; does the tail docking sever the sheep's spinal nerve?💡

No. Certain breeds of dogs get their tails docked and they don't suffer from having it done.

My ten pound furball silky terrier (cousin to a yorkshire terrier) got it's tail docked and the only trouble was that his little puppy legs were like 2 inches long and the grass wiggled the stitches for a day or two. His tummy use to scrap the snow in winter.

The methods of castration for herd animals don't work on primates including humans. Herd animals only go into rut a couple times a year, whereas primate males are fertile continuously. Hence primates have large blood supply and flexible spermatic cords. Sheep testicles for example can just be twisted off, whereas the burdizzo is iffy on humans.

So, generally biting, crushing, and twisting testicles are all effective on herd animals, but not on humans. You can of course go ahead and do it on humans, but you end up with serious bleeding, whereas the animal procedure really isn't all that bloody.

I have castrated sheep by biting off the cords but never try this on humans.God made us just a bit diffrent this is why I had this done at the hospital and every thing worked out very well for me.I have also done pigs and young bulls and they do not bleed much so take care of what you do to your body.
