Looking For Help and Guidance

Post by Alton2241700 (imported) »

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for info about androgyny, hormone therapy, and transgender info. To explain what I'm trying to research, I'm curious about advice concering antiandrogens. (More specificly info on Diane-35 / Ginette-35.) I'm trying to become more androgynous looking and acting. I also want to get rid of certain "male" chracateristics of mine while remaining a sexually active gay male. I'm hoping some friendly people will give me their thoughts and ideas, even though I'm not looking for sexual castration. What I'm am trying to obtain a thinner more "feminine" frame and look, with smoother skin, and also losing beard growth and body hair. I want to keep the ability to have an errection, but am willing to lose some of my sex drive in the process. (There's trade offs to everthing in life.) A good example of the look I want is visual kei artist Sakito. Sorry if this message is a bit rambly. It's hard to explain what I'm looking for and trying to. Thanks for any help or adive you can give!

Once your past puberty you will have to deal with male hair growth unless you resort to removal by electrolisis or laser etc. The mood, etc stuff. Well if you've read this forum you know that dialing off Testosterone mostly makes you uninterested in sex (gay or anything else) Being thin is just as difficult (or more) for women so dialing off testosteorne to estrogen is no solution. I wish I had better answers but I don't think castration is the answer.

Given your goals, my suggestions would be: (keeping in mind I am not a MD) 1) small doses of estrogen (skip the blockers, they have the reputation of affecting erections more than estrogen) 2) extensive use of Rogane and other hair growing stuff 3) extensive laser/electrolysis to eliminate unwanted body hair(expensive) 4) constant dieting/exercise to stay thin (if you start thin, it is a whole lot easier to stay that way, than to lose it if you are no longer thin.) and lastly a really good hair stylist. Not easy, but I know people who have succeeded. You may have some small breast development, buy you could get that with just blockers too.

Thanks for the input so far. As for the male hair growth, I'm not too surprised it can't be stopped after puberty. I am hoping it can be slowed down. (Such as by Eflora / Vaniqa Cream.) Are there any other ways? As for the exercise part, no too much of a problem. I only weigh 142lbs, and that's since I stopped working out. (I was 135lbs when I moved from my old complex with a gym a year and a half ago.) I don't gain weight easily...Perhaps from a fast metabolism??? (I digress, however.) One of the changes I hope to achieve is some fat gain/redistrobustion into my butt. As for the hairstyling and grooming, I'm also a bit luckier than most as I have the various Aveada salons at my disposal. I don't wan't my hair to be super long. My avatar is the perfect example of the "look" I want to achieve. Any other advice or thoughts are still welcome!

Thanks again, everyone!!! :-\

very interested in this discussion as my desire is very similar to Alton's.

I also think that while experimenting with my masculinity or lack there of I might get some really good insights, about women in particular, whom comprise more than half the world;s population so I think it's something worth knowing.

I look forward to this thread growing.

Having an estrogen-driven body/lack of testosterone can slow down facial hair growth. Though if you want significant reduction then electrolysis or laser is really the only way.

Lose the testosterone, and you become much more likely to gain weight (slowing of metabolism).

I've ordered Spiro and Depo-Provera.

Does anyone have any suggestions one how these two medications can best be taken. My goal is to lower my sex drive and to increase feminine characteristics.

Thanks:)

Second day on Spiro.

I'm pretty surprised to be where I'm at.

I think things will be fine. I know that a lot of things will change but that's also what I'm looking forward to.

I plan on posting regularly.
