There is lots I don't know. I would have thought that there would be "normal" ranges for the saliva test, and those ranges would vary by age.

I will try to get my courage up to contact a Urologist. I wish there was a list of those who would be receptive!

I think you've gotten some good advice here and you will have to decide whether to take it.

I'll add my two cents to the voices of those who suggest that you should work with a doctor before you start. I don't know how old you are, but risking delaying things by a few weeks is a lot less than the risk of harming yourself unintentionally or doing something that can't be dialed back later and that you end up regretting.

I'd suggest going online and looking for docs in your area; as for being "receptive," that's another question. However the worst you do is get some informed, if biased, advice.

You mention that you are looking for a urologist, who would deal with the "plumbing" aspects of what you are contemplating. Your original question had to do with Testosterone levels, etc.; for that you will want to talk to a Endocrinologist.

Or instead of either of those just talk to your GP and ask him/her for some help. They know you best and can advice you best (I think)

Not much has changed since my last post. I have not gotten my t-level checked yet, but plan to do so. I am realizing that I do want some level of feminization, more that just the breast enlargement that will come from lowered t-levels. It will take time to sort this all out.

I wanted to update everyone.

I'm planning to have a T-level blood test on Wednesday. I'll have free and total testosterone levels checked. (anything else needed?)

I discussed with my wife the journey I'm starting. She was very enthusiastic and supportive, but suggested (perhaps more than suggested) that I not start feminization yet. She said that I should not do anything permanent until I am sure I can live without testosterone. She says that she really likes the idea of me not pushing her to have sex all the time, and she will enthusiastically support me as I go down the road to feminization, just not yet.
