Liberals

Time to take a serious look at Liberals. ;)

Let's start here -

http://cranchedfornow.blogspot.com/2008 ... n-dvd.html

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081485/

What can we learn from Martin Mull in Serial (1980) ?

Answer: They never change.

Currently, I am most in agreement with Bill Maher who asks why Liberals go defensive and belly up so quickly rather then defending their agenda. Health care for a recent example. All has been defense.

Maybe they are trying to throw the fight in order to serve their monied interests.

Pfeizer supports Liberals too and the money is not refused.

Choice words left to Board members to my right.

A more interesting question is this: How is it that conservatives work so hard at demonizing liberals and then wonder why liberals get defensive?

Remember according to conservatives, Liberals never have a good idea. So if it's a bad idea a Liberal probably thought of it first!

Bullies are empowered by their victims.

That's very sad :(

What camp do you see yourself in, and what camp do you think others see you in?

As a now former GOP (switched to independent last month) it's been my experience that Democrats when they've controlled both houses and had the Presidency usually blow it. I remember the Congress not getting along with Jimmy Carter. I remember the same with Clinton UNTIL the GOP came to power and they worked together.

This time around they are fighting amongst themselves and not with Obama. Or as I've told my parents for years...watch the Dems shoot themselves in the foot AGAIN...

I won't ever be a Dem, and would really like a 3rd moderate party choice, but would really like to see them DO what they say they are going to do.

P.S. I think since November the GOP has acted like babies, bad losers, and on the fringes bigoted.

We have reduced political discussion to giving people labels.

It is a useless waste which, I think, will one day bite us on the ass.

We are getting to the point that we cannot accomplish what our country

needs because of partisan bickering.

Half of denver is trying to make sure their children aren't exposed to a speech

supporting education as a way to advancement.

I refuse to yield to bullies who would victimize me.

What camp are you in? :D

You are about 10 years behind me, I gave up on the GOP in the 90's, became an independent, in 2002 became a Democrat. Not because I am a liberal, its because the GOP has lost there way, they no longer stand for anything but themselves.

It is time for a new party, a middle of the road party that does not have gun control or abortion as its banner.

But it seems to me that you paint with such a broad brush at times. You seem to be quite fond of lumping together various groups, such as Liberals and Vegetarians, ignoring the fact that they each have their own separate and distinct histories. Then upon the artificial monolith you have created, you heap the responsibility for every negative outcome that seems convenient. Even going so far as to say it is Liberal-Vegetarianism that is responsible for bear attacks.

Scapegoating is the tactic of bullies. Liberal-Vegetarianism is your scape goat.

I am in the camp that calls it like it is. You are hardly the victim you claim to be.

Maybe I should apologize for the observation that the new neighbors who bought sub divided acreage and built McMansions that later went to the bank before it was popular to do so, complained of bears being prevented from raiding their properties, were vegetarian, liberals.

Yes you probably should....

I agree but it will be a hard thing to do. The GOP base has totally lost their minds. Conspiracy theories are now even talked about by their own leaders. It is unbelievable.
