After having read one of the numerous stories on the site about castration,
titled : Ceaning out the family jewels with ultrasound.
I thought of looking thru the internet to see what had been done using ultrasound.
The results speak for themselves
look at these US patents
US patent 4,077,401
US patent 4,078,556
both are for the same machine
wonder why nobody ever followed up on them
one of the links
http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/4078556/fulltext.html
however the second link speaks for itself...was tried on 5 males.
http://www.patentgenius.com/patent/4078556.html
i
also read somewhere about somebody trying this and it was said that putting your testicules in the warm solution and turning on the ultrasound was quiet pleasent...any takers.

It is not a castration - it is sterilisation. At least links describe that Leydig cells were intact?

Radio Frequency Ablation would be more effective as it will shrink or "sclerose" the blood supply. It is currently used for treating hemerhoids and vericose veins.
It seems like it could be done multiple times to slowly reduce the blood supply causing them to atrophy.

I agree castration it is not...however if it is sterilisation why aren't more people made aware of this possibility?
also as ramses says
what would happen if you kept on doing it
would the little buggers finally go away

Ultrasound, microwaves, lasers -- bring on the castration technology!
Actually, I think the most promising is immuno-castration that is now gaining acceptance in farming. A single injectible shot causes your body to attack your own testicles and destroy them for permanent castration effect.

I would still opt for the surgical suction device that vacuums out the innards of each testicle. You would still be left with empty testicle bags inside the scrotum, but there would be no heavyness of volume to them so it would almost be like being castrated....maybe.....in hopeful theory. Obviously some practical realistic downside to this technique, but one can only fantasize and hope.
Like this, but keep at it until each one is empty:
