Here's a medical picture I hadn't seen before. A guy had stuck his penis through the head of a ball-peen hammer (i.e. the handle had been removed from the hammer) and couldn't get it free.

That is not all uncommon in the ER where someone gets their penis stuck in some sort of thing. This is just one of very many weird objects used. If you note in the writings that it was impending gangrene. Some objects can be cut to free the penis. Other just are not so easy. Also the time the object is on the penis will determine if the penis can be saved. Guess this guy will have a stump for a penis now.

A similar event had happened in Berlin, Germany. A married man has used several steel rings for his cock and tightened them really strong. He was not able to remove them after his cock swelled up, became blue and black. He ended in ER; with some hard efforts the rings were unsoldered / broken / removed. I want to believe that if you stick your penis through some object like this and then can't pull it back out, that the simplest thing to do would be to drain it of blood. It would be bloody, so don't do it in the living room, but I would think that you could stick the head of your penis with a large sharp needle a couple of times and squeeze the blood out. I would at least attempt to do that before heading to the ER, I couldn't face the embarrassment. Can you imagine the exchange of words between the nurse and the patient, "How can we help you, what's wrong? I got my penis stuck in a hammer head?" What? I got my penis stuck in the head of a hammer? Dumbstruck the nurse says, "Let me see!" Looking at it she says, "What is wrong with you?" We might have to cut it off!" Not a bad thing if you don't want your penis, but we'll suppose he wants to keep it. As she turns to leave shaking her head she mumbles, "Men are so stupid." She might even call the local news. Can you see the camera man and female reporter? "A man came into the ER today with his penis stuck in a hammer head. Sir, can you tell us why you did it?" O.K. it might never happen, might!

That's why I'd drain it. Certainly you wouldn't want to wait too long before trying this, but it makes sense. The penis is swollen, drain the trapped blood, pull object off before it refills. You wouldn't even have to drain it completely. Comments?

I think that ER nurses have seen it all. And more.

Main thing - do not wait too long before going to ER. It is either losing your penis or being embarrassed. You choose.

As for draining blood from penis, at home - well - how will you stop bleeding afterwards? Not counting possible damage to the penis.

Remember that an erection is hydraulic, that is it is a result of fluid flowing into the shaft and not flowing out again. Blood flows in and doesn't leave until the erection subsides after orgasm.

So if you open the penis and attmept to drain the blood, you have tapped a big artery and you can bleed to death. That's not a desireable outcome.

That's what's running through my mind. I can think of only two ways to cut a hammer head, torch...nope that wouldn't work, and grinding, which would also cause excessive heat, but could be cooled with water while it was being done.
