Re: Going natural after surgery
I originally started with sublingual tabs 2mg twice a day. Those gave me insane headaches for a couple of hours after each dose, so I was switched to estradiol valerate injections. A pretty low dose, equivalent to 5mg/wk. E was right at 100pg/ml for my first labs, which ended up being my only labs ...

Re: Going natural after surgery
That is largely my understanding as well, which is why I always say "T or E" when talking about hormones... Basically the two are pretty much interchangeable in terms of bone health (and also the mental health issues reportedly) so we get to pick between 'manly man' and :boobies: to some degree ...

Re: Going natural after surgery
I used testosterone cypionate weekly injections for several years before stopping last January. At least for me, it took a couple of months for my level to drop to the point that erections stopped. As far as long term bone health, it's quite a conundrum. My doctor doesn't think a small testosterone ...

Re: Do hot flashes disappear after castration (maintaining castrate T levels)
I went without testosterone for the first year after castration. The hot flashes started at about two months post castration. For me they seemed to happen mostly mid day while working as opposed to night sweats. They didn't last long and had mostly ended by the six month mark.

Re: Estradiol
I did a six month trial run of estrogen last year and had a very similar experience to baldwin92. My thinking definitely expanded into new directions. Maybe the estrogen, but even after ending the estrogen experiment those thoughts/ideas remain.

Re: Pre-op questions for Eunuchs taking testosterone
I was over four years ago For much of that time I have been on replacement testosterone with no loss of function. My standard protocol is 100mg/week testosterone cypionate by injection. I don't get a rollercoaster effect by injecting weekly. Some even split the dose and inject more frequently. You ...

Wow, that's incredibly high for that dose. I got close to that at 200mg per week but I also have always tested six days after injection.
