Re: What's likely to happen when I admit to taking Androcur to my doctor?
I just told my doctor about this. I was expecting to get a lecture about medicating myself. But, she didn't bat an eye! I was surprised.

Out of interest what brand of Tamoxifen are you using?
Genox from inhouse pharmacy.

Breast growth/tenderness
Hi, been taking 50mg Androcur a day, and have been for 4 months now. I'm getting the breast growth and tenderness that's mentioned as a side effect. Been taking Tamoxifen to stop this, but it didn't work.
Does this side effect end at some point?
Thanks

Re: My 2018 Androcur journal & experience
Interesting to read everyone's experiences. I'm 3 months in on 50mg Androcur per day. My desire is almost nil. I do still get night/morning erections sometimes, nearly as hard as before.
I experimented with dropping to 25mg for a couple of weeks. Desire came roaring back, as did full hardness. I ...

Re: Finally taking the plunge
I was advised to take Genox (Tamoxifen) 20mg to prevent breast growth. After looking over the factoids for this drug I'm a bit concerned. If my choice is to take it or not (as in at this point I can't afford to get a different medication) should I really be taking it? Should I hold off an taking ...

Re: My 2018 Androcur journal & experience
That's great. I'm also in my sixth week on Androcur. I too was tormented by my sexuality; fantasies in particular. While the desire has dropped drastically, I can still go there in my mind. I was hoping I wouldn't be able to at all. So, there's still a bit of work to do. But, I can do it now, where ...

Re: 5 month Androcur trial - few questions before I start!
Are you able to get your testosterone level checked? You may already be at castrate level, in which case there would be no point in taking more anti androgens. Also Im not sure that it would be the best idea to mix them.
But what about taking Tamoxifen or Raloxifene with your Androcur, which ...

Re: Want to start Depo Provera trial but have some questions
Hi, I've used DP in the past and have started again while I wait for my Androcur to get shipped. It's a very slow acting but very effective drug. It usually comes in pre-made syringes which are designed as a three-monthly female contraceptive; it's recommended that you use a higher dose, so order ...

I no longer ever get unwanted erections.
