Re: Potential Doctor for Orchiectomy - Dr Fara Movagharnia
That is a good find. In my estimation the price is a little high, but no letter required! I paid just under $3k for mine.
Was that under local anesthesia?
I got my letters, was suppose to have orchiectomy with scrotal reduction last week but insurance fell through and urologist only performs ...

Re: Insurance?
Check your insurance coverage, I have Aetna, they cover non-binary with 2 letters and 1 year hormones. I was referred to a local urologist, he offered a few options depending on future plans. Had my consult a few weeks ago, just waiting for them to get insurance approval, don't see any reason why it ...

Re: Osteoporosis
I have become a chemical eunuch since 2009. My story and my journey had been posted previously. As expected, I have been tested with low testosterone levels.
Last month, I was finally able to get my doctor to order a bone density scan and found osteopena in my lumbar spine, an early weakening of ...

Re: The one thing I didn't mention in my intro
I've been told by Doctors cutting things off would not solve the problem, since it originates in the spine, and would be left with phantom pain.
But if another spine surgery doesn't solve this, then I'd probably explore diagnostic injection of lidocaine into the dorsal nerve to see if that provides ...

Re: The one thing I didn't mention in my intro
I know what you're going through, I had all the symptoms of pudendal neuralgia due to L4 L5 issues.
The pain, the burning, the tingling. It was a year of hell. I went through 10 doctors before one figured out it was spinal. Put on tons of antibiotics, antidepressants, prostate and bladder ...

Unresponsive to Cyproterone Acetate?
Long story short, I have gender dysphoria (MtN), have wanted my testicles gone since puberty, have had facial surgery, full body/face hair removal but no desire for breasts.
But I also suffer from extreme arousal. Was masturbating several times a day. Was on 25mg CA for 2 years, had little affect ...

Re: Hi new here mtf my orchiectomy from Arnkoff March 2017
Doctors generally prescribe pain management for surgery after care. However, you're going to have a rough road if they catch you self-medicating. So if you are, I'd knock it off.
They will be asking you about anything you're taking either prescribed, over the counter supplements, or illegal. If ...

Did they give you Valium and Vicodin before the procedure?

Re: I've ordered my Androcur
I've been ordering "Siterone 50mg (Cyproterone)" from IHP for the past 2 years, it is now discontinued and had to order "Procur 50mg (Cyproterone)" which I've been on the last 2 months. It seems not as strong at the same dose (e.g. erections and sex drive returning). Is anyone else experiencing this?
