Re: My Endocrinologist Does Not Know About WPATH SOC 8 As Having Eunuch Mention
I should have said transdermally rather than transcutaneously in my last post, but I guess they mean pretty much the same thing.

My understanding is that the blood clot risk from estrogen is primarily from orally administered estrogen, but not when taken sublingually, transcutaneously (patch or gel) or by injection.

Re: How do you pronounce "Orchiectomy" ?
Yeah, I figured it was a 'k' sound like in orchid. But me being somewhat obsessive, I didn't want to get off on the wrong foot.
I did check a couple of online dictionaries, but they didn't list the word at all. I usually check the Merriam Webster online, but I guess I missed it this time.

How do you pronounce "Orchiectomy" ?
One of those questions that a person feels silly asking.
At long last, I'll be talking to a psychologist in the next few days on the subject of the removal of my testicles. I prefer to use the term "orchiectomy" which sounds much more civilized than "castration". I've looked everywhere and can't ...

Re: Survey Number 4
I just finished the survey. I was impressed at the large number of questions and the wide range of them. A couple of misgivings though. Read on...

Re: Can you survive orchiectomy without any artifical T, or drugs?
How did eunuchs survive all the centuries before TRT?
This is the question that I've been considering for quite a while. However, in "all the centuries" the average lifespan was a lot lower than it is now. If you lived to be 65, that would be average, and osteoporosis likely wouldn't have been ...

Re: Stupid Chat Questions to those of us who have been castrated or nullified
My idea of a silly conversation (inspired by the memory of an old joke):
Q: No dick, no balls?
A: Nope, nothing there.
Q: Soooo, no foreskin then?
A: No...
Q: So, where do you store your chewing gum when you're not chewing it?
----
Old joke:
Q: Why are desert nomads uncircumcised?
A: So ...

Re: Nonads_85 is back
Thanks. It's good to be back. :)
Now, I just have to restrain myself from necromancing a whole bunch of old threads that I've been reading for past few hours, that I would have liked to have posted a comment on at the time. In any event, I will post an update on an old topic that I started ...

Nonads_85 is back
I joined this forum over 5 years ago, and made a few posts over the first few weeks. Since then, I drifted away. I have visited occasionally, if for no other reason than to keep my registration from lapsing, but haven't spent any significant amount of time reading the forum posts, and I haven't made ...

Re: Time off from Hormones.
How is it that many years ago Eunuchs went entirely without hormones, but today it is almost unheard of?
This is something I've been wondering about, as well. What makes it more curious to me is that from what I have read, ancient eunuchs were often known to live longer than the average person ...
