Re: Scrotectomy Done!
'm pleased to say that I finally seem to have stopped seeping blood/fluids, and no longer have to wear a gauze pad. It took a while to get there. To my surprise, I found out that much of the discomfort I was still feeling was actually caused by the gauze pad, though I'm still a bit tender. I'm ...

Re: Underwear
Unlike the OP, I identify as non-binary, and I tend to wear very feminine, silky, colorful panties. I've liked the feel of them, along with the gendered aspects. TBH, I've tended more to go commando, but I suspect that I may find myself wearing the silky panties more often now with the scrotum gone.

Re: Underwear
Not all women's panties are feminine--some are very simple, monochrome, no lace, etc. You'll typically find them in white, grey, dark blue, or black. Hint: If you own and wear them, and you identify as a man, then they are MEN'S underwear, regardless of who they were marketed to.

Re: Scrotum Removal
I had my scrotum removed on 9/11, 8 years after castration. My experience might be useful to you.

Re: Scrotectomy Done!
Thanks Justine, I'll look into anti-scarring gels. I'm up and around some today, and even went up and down the stairs a couple times in our house. Between stitches, surgical adhesive, and swelling, I've joked that I feel like I'm holding one of our dog's "indestructible" big rubber toys between my ...

Re: Scrotectomy Done!
Wow…posted too soon today? I sat up on the edge of my bed for a bit to do some things on my computer, and was then sore. A little over an hour later, considerably more swelling and the area is turning purple. That’s what I initially expected to happen, but I thought it would be right away ...

Re: Scrotectomy Done!
Almost zero pain this morninga bit of discomfort at the edges. Bleeding seems to have stopped. Swelling has gone down, but I look like I have a pig in a blanket sticking out from me. 😄

Thank you! And whoops! Blame pain meds. Fixed now!
