Re: Epidectomy
I have had injections of Bupivacaine & Kenalog for chronic pain as part of a diagnostic approach to dealing with my pain. It has not bee effective and is temporary. This is usually the first stage in pain alleviation.
I had these injections a few weeks ago.
I think that this is just medics ...

Re: So I have an appointment with a pain clinic
Topical cream is often rough on the scrotal tissue.
It does give a different sensation I will admit.
Lyrica just made me high. It was not a great choice.
Never did get nerve blocks. I read that they are diagnostic tools mostly. I was offered lower spinal nerve blocks but chickened out and went ...

Re: So I have an appointment with a pain clinic
I've not used topicals, so I can't speak to it. Gabapentin, on the other hand, is "supposed" to be good for neural pain (it rarely is), and is generally worthless. Re: So I have an appointment with a pain clinic
Pain doc is trying a topical cream that has a buch of stuff that I cannot pronounce that he has to order from the east coast. Does anyone else have any experience with topical creams for testicle pain? He said if those don't work then he will try gabaphentin

I guess there is a big sigma about it which honestly I would still have had if not for my accident, it has definitely changed my perspective on things.

Re: Epidectomy
Thanks for the replies guys, I was under the impression that the blocks were going to be a diagnostic tool but my doctor seems to change his mind on whether or not he wants to remove it if the injections are effective. I guess I will find out how this plays out with the pain clinic. Honestly at this ...
