There's a streaming service called Marquee TV that streams a number of ballet performances. I'm sure they have a contemporary version of the Nutcracker. I'm frankly surprised there aren't more stories that capture Freud's concept of 'castration anxiety' surrounding the Oedipus complex. Who knows if there's anything to his psychology, but his work should be rich material for kinky authors.

Haha. Well, you've hit the nail on the head as to why this is still a story concept. I still think it could work, given the right setting/framing. It feels tonally consistent with some hentai or furry stuff that's out there, but you'd need to be careful not to lean too hard on that framing or else ...

I've had a concept for a story or stories kicking around in my head for a while that's vaguely along these lines, but I haven't thought it would be on topic here (or really any other fetish site I know because so many of them have no-animal policies) because its sort of an anti-castration concept ...
