Don't fly blind. You need to have your blood E2 level monitored to know what dose works for you. It's not a very expensive test, and the blood should be drawn at the lowest point of your estrogen dosing cycle (just before the next dose, in other words).

Excellent write up. Dr. Arnkoff castrated me back in spring 2019. Your description of his demeanor, office, procedure, match my experience very closely. He's a nice guy, and quite direct.

The scars will probably virtually disappear in a few months.

The results of castration vary a lot, and are hard to predict. Our reaction to them may be quite variable, and not what we think beforehand. I don't think a person should have a surgical castration without an EXTENDED trial of chemical castration first.
