Re: Calcium Chloride and Other Salt Injections for Castration

Most of the stomach pain is gone now (it has been five days), but now I feel burning in the testicles. Is this normal?

The burning seems to be up in the inguinal region as well. Is this anything for me to worry about? Also, how long until the swelling starts going down? Thanks!

Re: Calcium Chloride and Other Salt Injections for Castration

The major swelling of the abdomen occurs only at the first injection to healthy testes! If more injections done at later times, the swelling of the abdomen is much less prominent OR no swelling occurs, because testes are damaged now and body responds differently.

I didn't know that! Thanks! I ...

Re: Calcium Chloride and Other Salt Injections for Castration

You are expected to get significant swelling for 3 to 5 days after the injection. It is not infection but just the lymphomatic response to internal damage -- same reason you get a lump on your head if you hit it hard.

Its only been a few days since your injection, right?

Anyway the bloodtests ...

Re: Calcium Chloride and Other Salt Injections for Castration

If they got the bloodwork results back and it shows infection they would make a diagnosis epididymitis. Otherwise it is a guess. What did they say about the lump in your abdomen?

I showed them to the doctor (each inguinal region), and he did notice them, but nothing more was said about them ...

Re: Calcium Chloride and Other Salt Injections for Castration

Only if there is still a needle puncture showing, if you used a fine gauge needle it will be invisible by now. Check the site and go to emergency. Keep your mouth shut about injections and you will be fine. If there is infection a blood test will prove it.

I suspect that the lump in the hernia ...

Re: Calcium Chloride and Other Salt Injections for Castration

Is There a real risk of death with salt injections in testicles? Is it possible that you´ve got an infection that then spread in bloodstream causing septicaemia? Testicular cancer could be developed? The chemicals could reach the bloodstream? What is the worst scenario If things went wrong with ...

Re: Calcium Chloride and Other Salt Injections for Castration

To answer all your questions Go to emergency:

1. You just tell them you have testicular pain

2. You have abdominal pain and a lump

3. You leave them to figure it out.

It is very doubtful that the fluid has traveled to your abdomen and it is more probable that you have have a co-incidental ...

I doubt that it would cause a hernia, it usually strenuous lifting or coughing..... If I were you I would go to hospital and complain of testicular pain and lower abdominal pain...DO IT! Don't tell them what you have done and you will be fine. Better safe than dead.

Oh, also, do you know what ...
