Yeah, I'm starting to wonder if that may be what happened. The testicle definitely received a substantial dose based on its swelling and the abdominal pain, and I only felt a mild burning/tingling sensation after the injection. There was never any "hrm, I think my scrotum is melting" sensation ...

Okay, just noticed something not so good.

There is a large darkish/purplish area on the scrotal skin on my left side. The thin, top layer of skin peels off easily and painlessly, revealing a red layer underneath. It's numb.

Why? This implies you think it is partially successful. Are you sure that it wasn't successful? Did you measure testosterone level? Are you sure it didn't fail? In either case it would be unwise to repeat it. But it is possible that out is partially successful. The literature shows a varied result ...
