It was one year ago that I visited Dr. Arnkoff and came away with less than I went with. I am very happy that I was able to find a Dr. who would perform an orchiectomy for me. I have no regrets at all.

Mine was done with one horizontal incision at the top of the scrotum. Just large enough to get a ball through and pulled out far enough to clamp off the spermatic cord. All evidence of the spermatic cords are now gone for which I am relieved. The Dr. told me that I had a condition called varicocele ...

Bilateral orchiectomy last fall. I do have what I call nocturnal 'phantom erections' occasionally. I wake up feeling like I have an erection but when I reach down there it is flaccid. I use estrogen for HRT.
