Hi Eunuchus
Welcome to the site. I am pretty new here myself but I also have a diagnosed sexual addiction, although I have managed to remain celibate for 8 months now but it obviously hasn't removed the sex drive or my excessive need to masturbate.
I really do understand your frustration with the ...

Re: I'm now chemically castrated
I took Seroxat (Paroxetine), which I believe is the same drug as Paxil, for 5 years and yes it definitely diminished sexual sensation but in my case I was mostly still able to have erections and ejaculate. I guess it just confirms to me how intense my hormone levels must be!

Re: I'm now chemically castrated
No problems mate. Good luck I hope it works out for you. I haven't heard of Spiralexa. Does it have a long-term chemically castrating effect? Over the years I have taken half a dozen different SSRI medications and whilst some did initially affect libido and erectile function, as my body got used to ...

Re: I'm now chemically castrated
I am currently taking two SSRIs. Mirtazapine that I've been taking for eighteen months and Venlafaxine which I only started taking recently. The Mirtazapine had no effect on my libido or ability to get erections and had few initial side effects, but when I started the Venlafaxine I experienced a ...

Re: A question about health risks in meds vs. castration, + input on my plans
I think it is highly likely that any attempt at self-castration would be perceived as self-harm or self-mutilation if medical intervention became required, which would almost certainly involve a period of hospitalisation under psychiatric assessment.

Re: damage in three minutes?
Reading through this thread has got me a little worried. I have been banding my balls for quite a while now, in fact whenever I have had to satisfy sexual urges (which up until recently could be several times a day), including quite a few times when my balls have turned deep purple and gone cold for ...

I'm afraid I am really not the best person to advise you on medication for chemical castration. I would strongly urge you to read through some of the other threads on the subject, which mention various types of medication which can be prescribed for chemical castration and the common side-effects ...

Well everyone reacts differently to medication, but the cumulative effect of the two SSRIs I am taking appears to have over-stimulated part of my brain to the point where I am experiencing manic cycles with paranoia, acute anxieties and panic attacks affecting normal functionality. This is not a ...

Re: finding a non-chemical way to stop erections or ejaculation for a while...
I really wouldn't recommend this to anyone, but I recently started taking a SSRI anti-depressant called Venlofaxine (75mg) which in combination with Mirtazipine (45mg,) the other SSRI anti-depressant I take, has effectively taken away my ability to sustain an erection or ejaculate.

Re: input on my rough plans for getting rid of my sex drive.
That is my plan too. Also I would take a small dose of T to avoid feminising post-castration. Good luck.
