Re: Self surgery?
Proof TS people have real needs that need to be payed by insurers. Proof we need to get rid of all the pretentious psych bull out there. There are a ton of surgeons who will skip any real life tests, according to a doctor who treats trans youth in my area. They want letters though.

Re: Trans relationships
You aren't TS. You're TG. We use the general term "trans" to be more inclusive. I already said physical transition doesn't make one "more trans". The term TS is used specifically to talk about people who physically transition their bodies, because they have different needs and social obstacles. I ...

Re: Trans relationships
It wasn't my intention to imply physiological change="more trans". I was simply hoping you weren't holding yourself up as an ideal to shoot for, because it's not just your headspace that is ideal, but your body too. It's important to point out that dysphoria is predictable in trans people and ...

Re: Trans relationships
While there are obvious reasons not to suggest medical procedures as integral to social transitions, I think it's important not to downplay medical, physiological transition. While your transition may be as simple as a change in pronouns, most trans people have serious cosmetic problems that require ...

Re: Trans relationships
The thing is, to be a trans person... well you would need a physical sex that simply does not match your gender, and for that to happen most trans people would need to sit firmly in either ovals. Quite a few gender neutral or third gendered people i know, say that since they don't feel like they ...

Re: Trans relationships
Non-binaries do exist in a few different forms. There are those who identify as neutrois or androgyne, and gender-eunuchs have some of that going on. Also, for trans terminology, just put a space between trans and the gender. Medically, it all comes down to hormone systems, so "T-powered/E-powered ...

Re: Trans relationships
Obviously the duck talk can only get so far, but after having gone through so much socialization and study, I'd see people as the bird they identify as. It's funny- I had a trans man friend, and I became less attracted to him when he came out to me. I had really enjoyed framing him as an androgynous ...

Re: Trans relationships
I don't think having a fetish makes you a bad partner, but I do think most with said TS/TG fetish are bad partners for trans people.
I think it's important to realize that people are primarily sexually attracted to gender expressions, not actual sex. Further, it's important to understand that our ...

Re: Trans relationships
Ungendering trans people is dangerous to them. Don't put their genders in scare quotes. If you don't know the difference between sex and gender, don't expect trans people to tolerate you. The way you refer to people makes a big difference. That's why we have the discipline of rhetoric- Putting ...

Re: Online Pharmacies
Thanks for the assurance. I've heard from just about everyone in every corner of the internet (some of whom I know are for real) talking about inhouse pharmacy, so it sounded like a good option. I've only heard of one person getting in some unspecified trouble for importing their meds. For all I ...
