Re: female hrt seems to have stalled out. please help me

You are close enough to large cities to be able to find a qualified and sympathetic MD who could do the proper hormone level tests to let you know what is going on. That would be the best place to start. Nothing may be wrong with you. Don't worry in advance but get some real data about your current ...

Re: Spironolactone effectivity

To answer your question: 200 mg is a very reasonable dose. Many people start with 100 mg and can comfortably go up to 200. The number you want to check with a blood test is your testosterone level before and after you start the spironolactone to determine how effective it is for you. After 1 1/2 ...

Re: Ethyl Alcohol Teste Injection

I found something as strong as Everclear 190 at a local liquor store here in NY State (Everclear 190 is not sold in NY and it is a long drive to get it). I asked the store manager what the highest proof vodka was that they had and he got me a bottle of this...

Re: I've decided to band.

You said you tried alcohol injections without success. But what proof of alcohol were you using ? And how often ? It seems that it has to be at least 150 proof and even better using 190 proof everclear. Maybe 1 or 2 cc's every 2 weeks for 2 to 3 months. It sound like that would be a much safer and ...

Re: Burdizzo Question. inquiring minds want to know

If pain is an issue you should use some local anesthetic, as they did in the urology article, or have some pain pills available. I don't think any pain medication was needed after 24 hours. Good luck.

Re: Burdizzo Question. inquiring minds want to know

The only medical journal article, a Urology Journal, used a burdizzo successfully by clamping for 30 seconds.

Re: Ethyl Alcohol Teste Injection

Considering the cost of medical care - Would it be better to just tell the urologist what is really going on ? This would eliminate a lot of unnecessary tests, procedures, investigation, wasted doctor's time, and lab work. You may find that the urologist is more understanding and accepting of what ...
