I'm not asking it as a personal favor, I think all registered user would benefit. About 90% of the people viewing here are guests and since they don't have access to New Posts they wouldn't affect server activity.

I see the New Posts feature here is set on the "Inactivity/Cookie Based" option; would you consider using a database option? I know this is somewhat processor intensive but with only a few registered members logged in at any time I doubt there would be much of a problem. There could be a problem ...
