Re: dr arnkoff new website

regreen13,

Would you have been OK to get on an aeroplane after the procedure or the next day, for a 12 hour trip?

I'm in the UK and am planning the logistics of making a visit to Dr. Arnkoff. I think Detroit is the nearest airport but there are no direct flights from the UK I understand, so it's a ...

Is there any follow up or could I fly back to the UK the following day?

Re: Androcur, Spiro, Tamoxifen side effects; about

I noticed loss of body hair as well, along with a change in my skin and nails. My skin became a lot drier and underarm and scrotal odors disappeared. Nails became a lot softer and prone to tearing.

I am pleased to say that almost 4 months after stopping cyproterone and estrogen nothing much has ...

Re: Androcur, Spiro, Tamoxifen side effects; about

Hi hkeunuch,

I stopped estrogen and Androcur at the same.

If I didn't have concerns over the side effects, I would not have stopped.

My desire is not to have any male sexual function at all and hope that my one year has done enough damage so that the changes are irreversible. I was wondering how ...

Re: Androcur, Spiro, Tamoxifen side effects; about

Hi hkeunuch,

Yes, those symptoms are a sign of low testosterone, but this was a very different experience. Shortness of breath is listed as a side effect of Cyproterone in this thread. It was enough to scare me into stop taking the medication which I had been doing on and off for a year. I stopped ...

Re: Androcur, Spiro, Tamoxifen side effects; about

I had to stop my last run on Androcur having experienced an one of the documented side effects; shortness of breath. It got so bad that even drinking a glass of water invoked panic. I had experienced it a little bit before, but not to this extent.

I was on 50mg of Androcur a day with a full ...

Re: The Pursuit Of Individual Happiness - Chemical Castration & Companionship Cures

Chemical castration certainly cures me of my companionship needs, but not in any way that I have read about in this forum!

Let me explain.

When I was a boy of 6 a garage door that was yet to be screwed in place, fell on my head and knocked me out! No one made anything of it (this was back in the ...

Re: Coming off Cyproterone (Siterone)

Thanks for that.

It confirms what I suspect is going on.

Still, I knew what I was doing when I started and the risks, so no regrets!

Re: Consensus?

Androcur (Siterone) worked for me!

Also, take note of hkeunuch's last point and other posts in here. In some cases, the effects of chemical castration do not go away when you stop, it depends very much on the person and how long you have been taking the medication.

Coming off Cyproterone (Siterone)

Hi,

I started my first of three trials with Siterone (1 month at 100 mg/day, then dropping to 50 mg/day as a maintenance dose) and an estroderm 100 patch in March of last year.

There was about a month gap between each trial so I never recovered any real function.

However, it is now 3 months since ...
