Hm, to me it seemed an elegant way to close the cord. And as seen there was no blood at all. Also I think it could be a solution of the Problem with the remaining ends of cords, Tanglog was wooried about - as I understood him right.

The only problem I can see is that you can`t castrate yourself ...
