Re: A warning about chemical castration

Many thanks to everyone for their concern. Just to let you know I am just out of the psychiatric ward. Still feeling pretty miserable, but not quite so suicidal anymore.

Re: A warning about chemical castration

The protocol I used was hardly extreme, indeed a number of people I spoke to here said I was being rather sedate.

I started with two depo-provera injections (each 150mg, if memory serves) then followed them up every four weeks with a single injection.

A warning about chemical castration

I posted on here a few of months ago that I was going to start chemically castrating myself. At the time things were going well for me and life was good.

However, about a month after I started I became seriously depressed and found it hard tto keep my life running. I then made a suicide attempt ...

Re: Here we go...

Thanks for your messages of support, chaps (I am English, 'chaps' is a non-gender-specific term over here). And many thanks to those who have said similar things in private messages. What a nice bunch you are!

This 'eunuch calm'-thing is quite good. I feel more at ease with myself and my place in ...

Re: Here we go...

Morning all,

Nine days in and things seem to be happening. My interest in sex seems to be really rather diminished and it is getting harder to get an erection. My nipples have also felt slightly tender. Best of all, I am suffused with a feeling of calm and peace which I have not felt for a long ...

Here we go...

Morning all,

My Depot Provera arrived earlier, so it is time to start on what I hope is a satisfactory adventure.

If I may, I'll take this opportunity to say what a useful and friendly place I have found eunuch.org to be. There are some nice, level-headed people here and I enjoy visiting.

Right ...

Re: Never wanted to grow up

Hi Paolo,

Oh I am very much aware of that. But clearly a point worth making.

Educated boys? What we need are time machines so we can go back and explain it all when it mattered!

If anyone has a time machine, by the way, can you take me to just after tonight's Euromillions lottery draw? Just need ...

Re: Never wanted to grow up

Thanks Terri and sag111 for your supportive words.

Much as I look forward to positive results, I am sure you all understand that starting off on a road like this is a tad unsettling. I suppose my only real worry is depression, but I like to think I am a relatively resilient fellow so I hope this ...

Re: Never wanted to grow up

Thanks, truly.

I've got anti-androgens in the post so I'll soon know if this is right for me.

Re: Question for Androcur users

I've ordered the depo-provera now. However, I did notice that there is a generic version of Androcur which is much more in my realm of affordability. If I am happy with how things are going after the first couple of months I might try switching, as people seem so impressed with the effects of ...
