I confess to feeling far less knowledgeable than others, based upon the excellent, educated posts I read. Let me share my experience with anti androgens for whatever value it may have for others.
I am 61, married, and have been transvestite/transgendered over 55 years. Fetish issues had always ...

Re: testicle size and anti androgen Rx
delayed post-have been on spiro again for over a year. 200 mg daily. I don't have those naughty erections. no real shrinkage of testicles, though. guess each reacts differently. best, helen

Re: Spiro results... good
I am interested to read the reactions other experience. I am 61, have been on spiro for almost 1 1/2 years. I have been at 200 mg daily for nearly 9 months. I rarely get erections and this pleases me. I was somewhat of a sex addict before and was very frustrated. I take my second pill about 5 PM and ...

Mexican surgery?
I wonder if anyone has any experience with an orchi done in Mexico? I am sure there are many qualified surgeons there. Since Mexico seems lax on what you purchase at pharmacies, I would think that similarly it would be easy to find a surgeon. I raise this question as clearly it is cheaper to fly to ...

Re: Effects of low Testosterone levels
I have many more questions than comments, but I have been on spiro for about 6 months. I feel much calmer without the tension that my testosterone caused me. I have been a transvestite for over 50 years and more of a transgendered the past half dozen. Now without testosterone fueling me, I don't ...

Re: Today I lost my best friend
Like others, I offer my sympathy. It seems harder each time one passes on. In time, I hope you feel OK enough to find another pet. Experts say not to try to 'clone' what you had--find the other gender (curious thing to say on this website!) and a different breed so you won't be 'comparing'. maybe ...

Re: taking estrogen?
Let me assert that I am no expert! I did read a great number of posts on the Doityourselfhormone group and started 'experimenting with Inhouse Pharmacy Rx. I think a male has to realize that you must lower your testosterone first before safe levels of estrogen will create effects. I use spirolactone ...

Re: bph and prostate cancer
Hi, I truly wonder why you say this. This book which has more footnotes than any I have read since college! seems pretty well researched. I think his health benefit enumerations seem OK. What is your complaint with what Mr Cheney writes? thanks, helen

Re: bph and prostate cancer
Thanks for the suggestions. I have been in touch with Dr Bowers and hope that she will assist. I sent her an interesting book that others may find rewarding-The Advantages and Disadvantages of Castration. The author-maybe deceased by now- Victor Cheney (I think)- had prostate cancer or was on the ...

Re: bph and prostate cancer
how does one find a qualified MD to perform castration on a human? I have heard that it is against medical 'codes of behavior' to remove healthy tissue. I suspect the procedure could be performed by a first year Veterinary student, but that is an unrealistic source of treatment. I don't wish to ...
