I heard about judicial castrations in malaysia. Does anybody know, if that is true? Are there more countries where judicial castration are performed today?

I´m a bit confused. You often can read that chemical castration is reversible. But you also can read that after a few month it´s not reversible. Can anybody tell me what´s the truth?
