Re: Hot flushes / flashes
I suppose everyone is different but I did not experience hot flashes until after being at castrate level for a few weeks. Castrate level for me tested around 15 with zero estrogen. I now take low doses of estrogen with no testosterone and the hot flashes have been eliminated. My testosterone level ...

Re: HRT and Male Health
I am on injections and have gone from one monthly to as often as twice weekly. Monthly injections will put you on a rollercoaster. The half life of testosterone injections is 8 days. You will spike within about 24 hours of your injection and then gradually drop. The drop is 50% every 8 days. I have ...

Re: "Crunch Time"
I was done about six years ago. Thinking back I remember how I held them just prior to going into surgery and thinking it will be so good to wake up a eunuch. I felt that way when I woke up and still feel that way. My only regret is not having it done years earlier. Everyone is different and going ...

Re: does surgical castration work as much as chemical castration
What I was getting at, poorly I guess, is that those who have become eunuchs at their own desire and have prepared themselves for what to expect, both mentally and physically, seem to have far fewer issues with the transition than those who are forced into it for the above mention reasons. Yes ...

Re: does surgical castration work as much as chemical castration
Calmeilles,
Yes, I get the same feeling from many posts. Voluntary eunuchs tend to adapt very easily and happily into their new being. They are generally more content. Those who have had it forced upon them for whatever reason (accident, disease, abuse, etc) seem to have a difficult time accepting ...

Re: does surgical castration work as much as chemical castration
I am a married eunuch and have been a eunuch for the past 5+ years. I am not on any HRT now and have been off for the past 8 months. No testosterone, due to castration, will crush your libido, shrink your hardware, eliminate night erections, make erection limited and difficult, stop ejaculation ...

Re: Effects of surgical castration on older men?
Hi.
Interesting question. I was 59 when castrated and am now 65. I have noticed very little change in my physical body, especially when on HRT. I have been off HRT for the past 8 months for medical reasons and have noticed a loss of strength. Off HRT I have noticed my skin becoming very soft and ...

Re: New member intro
Hi Feedback,
Your story is much the same as mine. I am over 60 now but had a bilateral orchiectomy at 59. I had been on hrt for quite a few years and it did make me agressive, angry without cause, moody, and a host of other things. I too wanted to have them gone and began to be abusive to them ...

Re: Scrotum Removal Question
Scrotum removal??? My Urologist was against removing the scrotum at the time of the bilateral orchiectomy due to the swelling from the surgery. I waited six months and hated the hanging scrotum which showed no signs of shrinking. I had no trouble finding a cosmetic surgeon who was willing to remove ...

Re: Empty scrotum sticking to my legs
Interesting posts. I kept my scrotum for about six months after bilateral orchiectomy and it drove me nuts in the heat of the summer. I had no difficulty in finding a plastic surgeon to remove it and insurance paid for it. A "scrotal reduction" is easier to pass the insurance than a "scrotum removal ...
