Re: Hot Flashes????

After my orchiectomy I had hot flushes (flashes) and my Endrocrinoligist prescribed "Estradot 50" Patches which were not very good, so not the next visit he increased the HRT Patches to "Estradot 75" which great the hot flushes have totally disappear.

Re: Hot Flashes and Dry, Cracked Skin

Since becoming a eunuch in August 2011 I started having hotflushs, but after going to my endocrinoligist who prescribe HRT (Eastrodot patches) the hotflushs have almost gone.

I haven't had dry skin , but I have noticed that I bruise very easily and some times my skin gets very ichy

Re: Surgeons for Castration in Australia

I was ask my GP about HRT as I wish to live as a woman and his suggestion was to have an Orchiedectomy prior to commencing HRT as it would reduce to level of hormones required, to effect the change, and it would also reduce the risk of liver damage and risk of developing thrombosis.
