Castration is only a fantasy for me, but what I've been wondering...

As far as I know, castration doesn't make you sterile right away, nor does it make you impotent right away. So, having sex in the days just after your castration can still lead to a pregnancy.

I think it would be really cool ...

When a man gets a vasectomy, he isn't immediately sterile... it takes some time before the tubes are flushed. You also have to bring in a sample after a number of weeks or ejaculations before you're declared sterile.
