cutnbulls2ox - orchiectomy was put through as part of the recommendation, it was recommendation from my doctor both for hydrocele repair and for orchi.
One thing I am thinking - what if the hydroceles are as a result of either the atrophy (which is quite extensive, they have shrank an incredible ...

I -might- get to have an orchi done locally, covered by health coverage
So I had a testicular ultrasound recently, due to a large hydrocele on one side - turns out I have them on both sides.
My doctor sent in a referral to the doctor she thought would be best for me to go to, who would be most likely to do hydrocele repair -and- bilateral orchiectomy at the same time ...

Re: Calcium Chloride and Other Salt Injections for Castration
It seems that it would be easy enough to infuse a buffer into the scrotum to negate anything that leaks from the testicle. You could just do the infusion after doing the testicles.
Do you mean like, injecting saline or something into the scrotum, after injecting CaCl solution into the ...

Re: How long does it take testosterone to dive back down?
Going to update. I feel about back to normal at this point. Since starting this thread I've switched to estradiol cypionate injections, and at this point my testosterone seems very stomped down. I've done two injections so far, at a dose of 2.5mg/week subcutaneously.

Sounds extremely dangerous and stupid. I doubt anyone has tried it, at least anyone currently living.

How long does it take testosterone to dive back down?
I'm trying to keep myself from doing something stupid (ball destruction).
How long does it take testosterone levels to go back down after returning to regular medication regimens that had your testosterone under control in the past? It's been a long time since I had any changes in my medications ...

Re: Is this true?
Is losing your sex drive the same as not finding people sexually attractive anymore? I've got this woman who says that losing your genitals will not affect whether or not you become Asexual.
I would say that they are two different things. I have had times where my libido was completely tanked ...

It seems like doctors are becoming more tolerant to self-medication recently.

Re: Estrofem (estradiol) for castration
I've used estrofem (estradiol hemihydrate IIRC) in the past, but it was in combination with spironolactone. MtF trans people used to use only estrogen to lower their testosterone levels, so it can help lower your test but requires higher levels than it would when used in combination with an anti ...

Re: Testosterone Level
As far as the hormone free thing goes, if you're worried about bone health and other symptoms of low sex hormones, you could consider adding Raloxifene, which is a partial agonist of the estrogen receptors. The benefit to it: if you don't want to grow breast tissue, it will prevent breast growth ...
