Re: Spironolactone combines best with [...]
Interesting experience. Spontaneous erections are 100% gone on the Netherlands, but what is described as breast tenderness is the understatement of the year. Plus I hadn't heard of the 24/7 nipping either...

Re: Spironolactone + Proscar [+ Estrofem ?]
Thanks so much, Erika. The price for generic dutasteride seems the same price I was paying for Propecia, so it is not much of a change. Except that right now I have about 6 months worth of generic Proscar... so I am thinking I am going to finish that up first and then do the switch, I hate to throw ...

Re: Spironolactone + Proscar [+ Estrofem ?]
Kelly, is Dutasteride available in the US or do you get it through a website? Since I my doctor prescribed me the Finasteride and the Spironolactone, I could talk to him about switching to Dutasteride.
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

Re: Spironolactone + Proscar [+ Estrofem ?]
Erika and Kelly, thanks for the info. I am one of those people that like to see the actual data and go to the numbers. Now I am curious, because if the change didn't come from the dosage increase, where did it come from?

Re: Spironolactone + Proscar [+ Estrofem ?]
Hi Erika28,
thanks once more for the good info. Re: Propecia Vs. Proscar, I haven't read about those clinical trials. It was my understanding that the higher dose was more effective in reducing DHT, and that was the reason behind prescribing each medication for treating different things (Alopecia ...

Re: Spironolactone + Proscar [+ Estrofem ?]
Hi Christina, thanks for your post!
I think neither Propecia nor Proscar help regrow hair, but they definitely stopped more hair from falling at the same rate as before. This should result in seeing a little more hair on the affected regions because the hair that grows stays on a little longer. I ...

WeRNotAfraid,
I can't speak of generalities, I haven't heard of other people's results with the Proscar / Propecia switch, just reporting what I have noticed. They are both available as generics (Fincar/Finpicia).

Spironolactone + Proscar [+ Estrofem ?]
After 6 weeks of switching from Propecia to Proscar (1 mg/day Finasteride to 5 mg/day), and keeping the Spironolactone intake the same (200 mg/day), I have sensed a reduction in libido. The reduction, though noticeable, hasn't affected erection size or performance. It just seems that now erections ...

Abdominal hernia operatios are orthoscopic these days. That means 3 very small incissions and very very little scarring.
