Re: Depo and anti-depressants

My question is: Are anti-depressants a non-negotiable, lifetime med, like insulin? Can someone be on them for a time, but eventually wean off- this time, under medical supervision?

Yes, in fact with most psychiatrists the goal is to get you stabilized for a period of time like 2-3 years and ...

Re: Depo and anti-depressants

When I first started on anti-depressents I was on Depo-Provera and there was no problem. Go to www.crazymeds.org (http://www.crazymeds.org) to find out more. Prozac & Paxil will really kill the sex drive too. If your goal is to be chemically castrated most anti-depressents will be more then happy to ...

Mental Health Meds & Chemical Castration

Haven't checked in for a bit and I thought that I'd pop in and let ya'all know what's been going on. To recap, about a year ago I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Depression, and Bipolar Disorder. Finally we had an answer for my out of control mania/sex drive that was ...

I Got My Life Back!!!

Unfortunately, being over 300 lbs. I tried stretching the intervals to 3 weeks & it started wearing off pretty fast @ 2 1/2 weeks.

Oh well...

Just grin & bear it every other week.

As Sag says...

"It's just a LITTLE needle!"

Re: tiredness

Just going back through some of the older posts & thought I'd update you on what I found to help here...

I drive truck & this is what I found to help w/ tiredness.

1: Stacker 2 or Stacker 3, if Stacker's don't light your fire, it's not gonna get lit!

2: Ginseng, preferably American Ginseng.

Re: Here We Go!

Being a big guy (350 lb. range) I was wondering if just one shot would do much. After two weeks, I could tell a difference, but not as much as I would of liked so I took a second depo shot. Wow! What a difference! Now we're getting somewhere!

Starting to notice that I am now thinking of a lot of ...

Re: Source of Depo Provera

Global Drug (http://www.globaldrug.tv) got mine to me in eleven days here in the heartland and it did come in preloaded syringes. I think that's the only way it's manufactured now (not sure, but knida think so since that's what I've been hearing).

Re: Depression Anxiety

To help bypass depression associated with hormonal changes I first am fighting to get my weight back under control as I know this will give me a TON more energy! I'm down from 485 @ Christmas 2003 to about 350 right now. 135 down & another 100 lbs. or so to go! My goal is to get back to my high ...
