As someone who was successfully castrated by Burdizzo I can tell you it will work on humans.

Three important keys to making it work

1.) Someone else has to close the clamp (quick and firm)

2.) Make sure the entire spermatic cord (blood supply) is inside the clamp before closing

Many guys have used alcohol injections but what I want to know is how does work?

I was chemically castrated before my actual castration and my penis did lose about 1" in length in the flaccid state and I was unable to get an erection, as far as my testicles they did not change in size but did change in feel as they went from hard and firm to soft

I learned of castration around age 10 which is when I started puberty and by age 11 my sex drive was in full effect and from that point until I was castrated I dreamed of going back to pre-puberty and having no sex drive
