Re: Broken Monitor

I have an Eee PC with an LCD monitor. Last night it got knocked off of where it was sitting and get a crack in the screen going tight down the middle. It's still usable, but unsightly and annoying. Can anyone tell me if it can be fixed, and if so, how much it's likely to cost?

Sorry it's taken ...

Problems with Submitting Reviews

We have received the second e-mail, in as many days, telling us that a reader of Sharon's newest story, "Modern Mods," has been unable to submit a review. Both correspondents are members here, according to them, but even when they log on to this site, they don't see the "Story Reviews and Author ...

Re: Firefox won't open Adobe pdf files

My version of Firefox updated itself and now it won't open Adobe pdf files.

Previously it did so automatically.

It tells me that there is an Adobe plug in to overcome this but when I get to the Adobe plug in site I do not know which one to download. All this bloody jargon is mostly meaningless ...

absolutely one of the best series of stories posted!

I WISH!:dong:

Thank you for your kind words. Judging by the e-mail responses Sharon has received due to this story, it is now number two on the list of all-time favorites with her readers. Still in first place is "Cuckold's Warning," and ...

Re: Where to find castration art?

I would appreciate links to sites with castration art, drawings, and/or photos. I have Googled for hours but have not achieved much since many sites which come up are not on subject. [Hiding false search keys in sites is getting as bad as spam.]

You can post the info here or send it to tensed ...

Re: Cool New Freeware

There is another program that does that sort of thing, and I believe it's the best of the lot. It's Secunia's "Personal Software Inspector," and I've used it for quite some time, with no problems, except for many fruitless attempts to update Java. For everything else, though, it has worked ...

Re: Trojan

Well, AVG now recognizes it but cannot fix it. I get a threat warning and a note that healing unsuccessful.

Whenever that happens to me (rarely), I'm often able to use an online scanner to take care of the problem. The one I used to recommend to my customers, and which I still use when the ...

Re: Reviews - This is Pathetic

On another site, not castration or sex related, I have posted 2 stories since February of this year.

In 6 months, I have had more feedback and reviews on that site than I have had at the Archive here in 11 years.

Isn't that amazing?:-\

I brought this post to Sharon's attention right after it ...

Website

This is definitely an "interesting link," so we'll post it here. We came across this site (in more ways than one! 😄 ) several days ago, and have spent many hours browsing all the artwork there. We especially enjoy the works of "Xrenderer," and can recommend his drawings to anyone who shares our ...

Re: Firewalls Hardware and Software

Simply put, nothing beats a hardware firewall and it doesn't put the load on YOUR operating system.

Sorry, TCG, but I have to disagree with your sweeping statement about hardware firewalls.

I'm assuming that what this discussion refers to is the "firewall" that is a part of wireless routers ...
