Christina, a sure bet for you would be Dr. Barham at Providence Healthcare in Portland OR. He charged $750 last time I heard, but he may be up to $1000 by now. Last I heard, he requires that you be on estrogen for 6 mo or so, and have a letter from a therapist recommending an orchie.

You might want to rethink going off androcur for now. If somehow your T level is higher even by a little at your next appointment, your Dr. may think there's a chance for some regeneration and hold off any decision to get rid of them. Seems like it would be better to minimize T so he could conclude ...
