I posted yesterday...had castration yesterday w/ Dr. Kimmel. Is it normal to have no drainage? I've been changing my dressings often to keep everything dry and clean...but I have almost no drainage. Is this ok, or should I be concerned? Cheers. L



no drainage means that the castration is done ...

i take now hormones.

1 monht after castration ,first bone scan.

heavy osteoporosis .

If I go through with my surgery, and take a small dose of estrogen daily, would I also have to take Fosomax or similar, or would the hormones alone be enough to prevent osteoporosis? I don't mind mild feminization, and estrogen seems to prevent some of the depression and health problems common in ...

I would yes it is some feminization going on. I also hope that things go well with your health. Perhaps if you didn't mind a little feminization, you could take a low dose of female hormones to ward off some of the bad effects (if the osteoporosis is being caused by castration)? Keep us posted on ...
