A few points I think I can add
1. I like my little red car too. :)
2. I was castrated just over 2 years ago. For the first year I didn't take any T. Pretty much went through a lot of the negatives on Kristoff's list for about 6 months. Then my body and mind seemed to adjust and come back to center ...

Mine has easily shrunk in half if not more and very happy about that.

Re: Is one mod enough?
I can't truthfully say that any of the eunuchs that I know, chemical-physical-medical...are calm.
Anything BUT...🔨
I have to disagree, when I am sleeping with my Elmo, I am very calm and relaxed :-)
Besides that, after being castrated the only thing I want is the same as Kristof, the scrotum ...

Best of luck. I did the surgery so I cannt tel you how long but if you werent taking any anti-androgen before hand it would take a few weeks just for the T to get completely out of your system after your testicles completely died.

Re: Getting over depression, new hormone trial, still on track?
I think you need to be very careful and make sure that a friend keeps an eye out to see if you are getting depressed. Sometimes you don't notice it until you are very low. But as long as you stay on the anti-depressants you should be ok. Good luck with it.

Re: "Loss of energy"
I also had an adjustment period once while I was taking anrdocur and before I was castrated. Your body needs to adjust to the physical changes. After a few months i was able to regain some of my energy and was less sleepy But I have to agree with everyone here. You need to eat well and exercise. Its ...

Re: Mental capability after castration
I have been a eunuch now for 14 months and was on chem for almost 2 years before that. When on the chemical I didn't notice a change for about 4 or 5 months in my mental clarity but then I was a bit foggy and slow for about 6 months while my body adjusted, then I seemed to come back to normal

Re: One month milepost
There seems to be a cogent number of new castrates over the past year or so, who significantly increased the numbers our eunuch community at EA.
For me it was Dr A in Detroit I think he has done several others. I guess it comes down to having a qualified Dr at an affordable rate willing to ...

Re: One month milepost
It's been over a year for me and its been great, but weight is an issue. You truly have to modify your lifestyle after castration. I know it may sound cheesey but I did the weight watchers point system and it really worked well for me. I get to eat what I want but just have to keep track of it.

Re: Am i the only one?
I don't know, maybe it's just me, or maybe it is the gay thing, but I have no problem telling people that I am a eunuch. It's who I am and what I wanted so my thought is "what's the big deal". Friends and family know and it's not an issue for any of them. I lived way to much of my life being ...
