There´s no need to chicken out :-)
Just explain your problem plain and simple - that you are plagued by a high level of libido and need a way to lower it.
Don´t come up with suggestions about therapy; many doctors will have doubts about your motive then (fetish?) and will not cooperate.
Still ...

Re: I do not know where I fit in with all this.
Strong libido with no good opportunity to vent it off can be torture...so your desire to lower it is reasonable and should be considered by your doctors.
I assume the burdizzo idea is an interference of your sexual fantasies - it is not viable nor reliable, so best forget about it.

Re: To much gel=wet dream
If you don´t dare to contradict your endocrinologist directly (and why should you? his/her duty is your well-being, not some power games), take one shot and then complain about headaches, painful erections, joint pain, chest pain and shortness of breath, and of agitation and aggression. This should ...

Re: Newbie and wannabe.
Welcome here, Renatelli!
I can understand your reasons very well - indeed, besides of not being gay, mine were the same. Avoidance of baldness or other aesthetic reasons may seem too unimportant to justify such a consequential decision as castration, but it is your self-perception that is important ...

Re: Pinhole castration?
You´re welcome! As you can see, your experiences have been very similar to mine. Some recurrences of T effects as you describe are possible even after castration, I had similar experiences for a while. Perhaps some T peaks produced by the adrenal glands, kind of an replacment attempt. But of course ...

Re: Pinhole castration?
If all the symptoms you mention appeared within the last year or so, chances are good that you did the job - they are very typical for hypogonadism. If they appeared more slowly over the last several years, natural aging processes (often starting within one 50´s) can be blamed. But, is the WHY ...

Re: Loss of energy
For me, it took almost a year to experience a noticeable decrease in energy, but in the end it happened. Since I also didn´t want to use T replacement, I tried estrogen (estradiol valerate 2mg/day), and it worked really well. Later, I added a low dose of nandrolone decanoate, which has good anabolic ...

Re: Testosterone and Estrogen?
Although I´m not a transgender person, I was very unhappy with most of the effects testosterone had on me. Orchidectomy was the surest way to get rid of them. Just as simple

Re: Testosterone and Estrogen?
Valid concern; if you already have some gynecomastia just from going without T, it would certainly grow a lot under E medication. I had no development of breast tissue or fat there whatsoever for one year after orchidectomy, and only slight puffiness while taking E+T in low doses - but a rapid ...
